Samsung starts beta testing for Oreo on Galaxy C5 Pro

      Amazing! At last Samsung had listened to their customers & decided to update the OS along with Pixel. GR8!
      Opps! It's Android 8 (Oreo) & not 9 (P). It will take another 2-3 months for testing before hitting the handsets. My so called low end Nokia 3 got Oreo update back in April 2018.
      Shame on Shamesung!

Better off buying a new phone buddy. Any phone with android Oreo is good especially the one that support Project Treble.

          Samsung and LG are in the same league of releasing major updates in a very sluggish manner.

              Android P is just around the corner, and I'm still waiting for Oreo on my S7 Edge SM-G935U. Even the midranges are getting it. This is embarrasing Samsung

As for android P dont even dream getting it in two months unless you using Pixel, Nokia or any android p beta phones. The other brands probably rolling out android p beta test first after August/September even if android P is already official.

                    Lol. Android P (as in 9.0) is about to roll out within two months for the first devices and Samsung announces that they will roll out Android Oreo (as in 8.0, so not even the latest Oreo) on their midrangers within a month or so.
