Merwyn Fernandes, 07 Jul 2018You have answered your own question , Why is OnePlus Not as... moreBBK already is more successful than all companies bar samsung and apple. One Plus is essentially something they make to gain share US market and in upper-mid range market, squarely targeting tech enthusiasts. One plus makes 2 phones a year, so any person with brain can infer that comparing a company that is making 2 phones/ year in completely different price bracket will have different measure of success than one making 10-12 budget phones. You are comparing apples to oranges here, nice try though

How ironic, berating a country for brand devotion. If I could get a dollar for every time he has said premium, I'd be a billionaire and buy Nokia from hmd. And that jnu person, whose name ironically is of a holy cow, berating the country on public forum. That aside find x is innovative and awesome, but if I was told to buy it over s9 or note 8, I won't simply because of that horrible color os. If only it had oxygen like one plus... shame because oppo is sister company/parent company of one plus

Oppo is parent company of one plus, if it considers it viable to launch find x, then are you the CEO of bbk electronics to say it to them? Yes Samsung and apple occupied the position Nokia and Motorola once held, so it was only a change of position for companies. Besides, Motorola is Lenovo. Can't call Lenovo premium especially with their software support cycle. Have a Moto e3 power, same processor as Nokia 3 but still stuck on marshmallow after being launched on it

Indian's are smart ppl who want value for their money thats why xiaomi n honour is growing in india, so all 90% ppl are smart one's, n this is the answer of ur typical mindset that "Indian ppl's psychological mindset doesn't think of wasting more than 10-12k".
N one more thing Jnu'ian, whenever u r commenting or giving any views regarding any point then u should stick to one point n pls support that particular point, now this time u did a good homework of goggling 2 times but u missed reading ur own comment, just read last 2nd line of last comment n ur initial comment...

There will always be people who are happy to buy it and be part of the future.
Also, it will probably sell more than the Lamborghini, Porsche and Landrover phones combined... anyone bought these?

It's dosent really make sense , India is not a market for premium Built Smartphones.
Also the 2.5% of the Market that Actually buys premium phones , Won't go for Oppo , It's mostly Apple or Samsung.
Even Nokia and Motorola phones are premium for the market , says a lot about the market.

Gauri, 06 Jul 2018Our population makes us 2nd largest smartphone market in wo... moreWhat about rest 10 percent. Like you said, the sheer amount of population makes india a viable market for flagships. Even If a fraction of those 10 percent actually buy it, that still makes a sale of million or more devices which would not be possible in many other countries. Maths is great isn't it. Too bad Meth isn't...
