    In my last 9 years, I am pretty much happy with Samung phone. Either myself or my family members used all the Galaxy phones since Galaxy S1 until S9, except S6 & S8. I agree that Samsung phones are expensive, but next to iPhone. And I always loved the hardware quality, software experience, overall reliability, most importantly the camera and ultimately peace of mind ownership. The best phone I consider is Samsung S5 (with respect to form factor, build, water resistant, dual sim with separate sd card slot and removable battery). I like sweet and according to me Samsung is sweet. Some like to eat more sweet or less sweet or no sweet. What I mean is, it all depends on your taste bud. Buy whichever phone suits your taste. Respect each other. Smartphone is still an useless item for most, a luxury item for many and a necessity item for others. Always I dont buy smartphone during launch, I wait for proper deal, so that I dont have to pay a fortune.

            we know india well ... china made handsets account for 95% indian n indeed world markets ..including china made iphones apple ...then indian politics very cuthtroat ..very counter productive to long term ...but indians desparately needs affordable good quality handsets which samsung can make in india ...india has 500 millions active handsets n increasing 4G ..
            bad mad politicians worldover are cancers untrolables ..self evident ...look at world refugees crisis on going infinite... for ever n ever ..human race good bad ugly ..whats new ..hope tomorrow ..btw we want 2 samsung galaxy note 9 /10 pronto ..please ..make samsung handsets india international editions ..please

                Anonymous, 09 Jul 2018India is only a market for cheap phones.Yes we cannot afford the iPhone X and the Galaxies as much the 1st world countries do, but you should also understand that if a person buys a cheap phone that does not mean he is poor or cannot afford a flagship. These days flagships cost a lot and does not provide a great value and we Indians respect and value our hard earned money and do not spend on things we spend on experiences. Below are some prices of phones here

                iPhone X: 1300$ for 64GB
                Galaxy S9+: 800$
                OP6: 475$
                Redmi Note 5: 150$

                While all phones do the same basic functionality and run the required apps for most people we dont see why should we spend 1000$ for a mobile with higher chances of damage and theft.

                  It would be much better if they rethink their pricing strategy in mid range segment which is dominated by xiaomi especially in india

                    Anonymous, 09 Jul 2018India is only a market for cheap phones.While largely true you will be surprised how many Iphones and other high end devices sell here. A lot of people are totally fine taking loans just to buy a high end handset.
