ALL mobile OS's have security flaws. There is NO such thing as a 100% safe OS, and that is because the software is made by humans, which ofcourse, are not flawless.
The point is that, these security issues, and generally all OS problems, come out in the open when a NEW rival OS is about to be released (in our case, iOS), and that is because someone needs to boost sales.
These flaws are like secret weapons, waiting to be used at the appropriate time to do more damage.

From the source page: "Only stock Sense firmware is affected - if you're running an AOSP-based ROM like CyanogenMod, you are safe."

[deleted post]Yes, it is funny how you Nokia-fans can not even read, because this is not an Android problem because it is ONLY a problem with phones from HTC!
"thanks to a suite of logging tools installed by HTC in the latest updates to these devices"
From the source page "which HTC has no one else to blame but itself"

[deleted post]This is NOT a Android problem, this is a problem only on phones from HTC!
(When HTC say they will fix a problem, that does not mean that they promise to actually do anything at all, because from the first day Desire Z was released a year ago they said they would fix the fatal problem with ÅÄÖ but they still have not fixed this problem, but they themself lie and say that they actually have fixed this fatal bug in their latest update but that is not true! HTC do not deserve their good reputation for good buildquality because many HTC users on many different models have problems with screens becoming very unresponsive after a few months and the only "fix" is to replace the screen, and many HTC-models are unable to keep a stable 3g-connection!)
