Predictive memorys, 20 Jul 2018Your comment only show an amateur opinion with bias minded ... moreYou probably are not a native English speaker. It's pointless arguing with you. Qnovo never made claims it can prolong battery life up to 4 years. Please read again. Up to 2x does not mean 4 years. It's still 2 years. Most batteries without proper care will deteriorate rapidly on the first year with only a fraction of usable capacity left. Qnovo helps with that ensuring it will last up to 2x as long. That is, live up to 2 years, the battery's expected life span under ideal conditions. Qnovo NEVER CLAIMED the battery can last longer than its rated lifespan under ideal conditions.

I think even don't read all Qnovo charging technology and don't understand it, you even don't have one and you don't trust it but there are many technology trusted agents praising Qnovo technology as you can see:

1- Battery performance is the AchillesÂ’ heel of mobile devices. By adaptively modifying how the battery is charged, Qnovo is able to significantly extend battery lifespan – even while fast charging By Paul Shea - Editor, Electronic Products

2- Qnovo has a unique solution to age old battery tradeoffs. With Qnovo, the consumer gets fast charging and longer battery lifetime, the best of both worlds. By Alex Katouzian - Senior vice president of product management at Qualcomm

3- Battery life is the biggest frustration for mobile consumers. Qnovo has developed technology to make todayÂ’s batteries perform better. We look forward to improving the experience of our shared customers. By Steve Holmes - Vice president of IntelÂ’s New Devices Group

4- Rather than trying to build a better battery, startup Qnovo bets it can improve the one thatÂ’s already in your smartphone.
By Rachel Metz - MIT Technology Review

5- QnovoÂ’s Adaptive Charging is cool because it helps consumers prevent damage to the Li-Ion battery of their laptop, phone, or wearable device.
By Werner Goertz - Research Director

6- By carrying out extensive research and gathering huge amounts of data on battery charging and life cycle behavior, Qnovo has developed both software and hardware-based methods of tackling one of the blights of modern mobile batteries, drastically reducing the time it takes for them to charge.

Qnovo is not some 'magical' software that makes phone batteries last longer than two years. Rather, it helps ensure phone batteries don't wear out prematurely before two years due to misuse by the user. You probably misunderstood the technical whitepaper and thought 2x longer meant 4 years. No, Qnovo never said 4 years; only 2 years. Only higher capacity batteries (4000mAh and up) can last longer because they have more usable capacity to start with.

Predictive memorys, 19 Jul 2018You really don't read whole things, please read this: http... moreActuall, Qnovo's technical whitepaper is the same as the website summary: Qnovo doesn't guarantee longer battery life - only the assurance that the rated battery capacity and rated lifetime will be met and that there will be no premature battery wear and tear. In short - it's the same "2 year battery lifespan". Qualcomm already employs battery charging technologies with the goal of ensuring no premature wear and tear happens in quick charge 2/3/4. Qnovo justs adds a software component to it. It's an app that monitors the charging process and background apps running that can drain and prematurely shorten battery life. Thus, there is no guaranteed battery life extension beyond two years - only that it helps ensure that the nominal battery lifespan of two years is met.
