When is this fine Device being lauched in SA....My client are nagging me

Gsmarena, this hardly makes any sense. Why would Apple build a CDMA only version exclusively for Sprint, when this can't be sold anywhere else in the world. Logically, the phone would then be dual WCDMA/CDMA in which case it makes no sense to exclude AT&T.
The success of the iPhone depends on making it available to as many networks as possible, which has worked worldwide. The different network standards and frequencies in the US however made it hard to do the same there, despite the large market of cell users. In 2007 it wasn't as easy to offer a multi-radio device as it is today.

What about the rest of the world? Should we expect that - for one thing - italian carriers will offer the "5"?

As much as i honestly think Iphones are good phones (Dont worry Android is great as well) Im actually getting sick of seeing rumour after rumour news about the new iphone. This is just to generate some sort of hype and its irritating. When last did you see any hype generated from any phone or OS other than Iphone? I just think they SERIOUSLY overhyping this phone cause i can say many Iphone users expectations are increasing everyday hearing about RUMOURS and when the phone is actually released they will be in some sort of way dissipointed.

In my opinion, this is highly unlikely. Risking annoying BOTH AT&T and Verizon? of course, USD20 billion is something to be considered.

However, Apple is know to sometimes flush out moles by supplying incredible stories. To me, this seems to be the more likely case, and someone is probably going to be in trouble soon for releasing internal memos lol.

iPhone 5 should be good enough for sprint's taking such a course. what happens to IT? Aamazon's fire's offered below cost and now sprint... end-user profit :)

You know what I love most about this news? If this is indeed the case then those people who are not with sprint, who have just had the Iphone before because it has been talked up, will finally realise what it is like to have a different phone. They will start to move towards the Samsungs and the HTCs and Apple will lose whatever amounts they won from those companies in court, to those companies. Hilarious

Iphone is no longer a lead! Instead, they are chasing according to consumer's need.

                                      I'm dissapointed.

As it seems there will be no iPhone5 at least for this year. iPhone4s would be on offer which is a revamp iPhone4 with changes on the camera, antenna, and 64GB storage.
