I predicted it in the beginning of this tournament that S9+ is going to win, and it did (it will, i mean).
Unfortunately, fanboys are always more in numbers than sensible people.

You will see that the BOM for iPhone X is higher than the BOM for Galaxy S9+, so your statement is wrong. The do not use lower quality components. iPhone X had the best screen at the time it was released, better overall than on Samsungs devices.
Sure Apple has high margins on their phones, no question about that but never the less iPhone X is an expensive phone to make. The reason for Apples high profit is also because the pretty much only sell higher-end phones compaired to most other manufacture. Look at the ASP for Apples phones compaired to the rest. The is not much profit in a low-budget phone.

Yes the SoC is great, but most other components like the screen are bought from other manufacturers and are qualitywise less advanced than for example the Samsung screens. The hardware in total is cheaper than the competition uses. Still people pay like they are the same. And yes the 3D scanner is better than the Irisscanner, but the S10 will use also a 3D scanner and this is just one feature. Oh and I still prefer a fingerprint scanner. Something Apple removed to cut costs.

They design alot of their components inhouse, more and more for each iteration of iPhone, read up. True they do not manufacture these them self but neither does pretty much any other company. Even a conglomerate like Samsung does not manufacture everything them self so that has little to do why it is so expensive to manufacture the iPhone X. Apple use costly components, simple as that. So saying they are far behind other companies could not be more wrong.

I think it's pretty obvious that the S9+ will win.
I choose the S9+ because it has the SD card slot, among other things.
Why would I want a lame knockoff like OP6 when I can have the original S9+ that the OP6 is desperately trying to copy? Make no sense.
The price is almost the same here in Europe. Also I don't want to support a communist economy.
PS I'm a Sony user :)
