Nokia X5 finally released with notched 5.86-inch display, tall aspect ratio, dual cameras and Helio P60 on board.

Samsung is the best, 21 Jul 2018Congratulation, you're the first HMD fan in the world. :)I'm a fan of logic and reason and will respond to unsubstantiated, evidence-less claims that have no provable basis. I would respond the same way if I come across similar remarks for any brand. Your last post is the typical response of someone who has no proof for their claims.

Either post a link that chinese own a majority share in HMD or simply stop commenting and wasting both our times.

        The discussion is NOT about where the investments come from. Do you know why? ... because an investment DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY MEAN OWNERSHIP.

        Investment does NOT, I repeat, does NOT mean ownership. Even if ALL the investment money for HMD comes from china, which you have provided ZERO proof of, that still does NOT make them chinese and it does NOT make them not Finnish.

        Also, foxconn IS NOT EVEN CHINESE. Can you read?

        By your non-logic, if I invest in a shop that you own without even buying a share of your shop, then your shop belongs to me.

        I suggest you read the wikipedia articles for "Discussion", "Logic" and "Logical Fallacy" and also improve your English a bit further. Also, make an account so that I could at least tell you from a troll.

Windows phone got sacked like always. If microsoft releases something tempting, i would probably go back. I have more apps but 99% are really BAD so nope, not impressed. And of course when i buy an android i want the best quallity that Nokia always provided with the most stripped down system, with the most updates and the less bloatware. And that can only be Nokia. Samesung sucks, htc it's ok but i do not like their design, sony is plain copy of lumia but way uglier and with very cheap like colors and feal. The only other ones that are interesting are blackberry, but then again, they are way to expensive for the hardware they provide. So yeah. Nokia is just to good to be ignored. And yes, they have my respect, for the moment.

            Man you sould start working for HMD Global Oy Oy, they probbably need someone to go online and write 'we are not Chinese-weeee' 'We have margin on ours great phones like 10000%, and thats a reason why we can make new phones, with same or similar design' At least for now, because they are not in top 20 globally.. But maybe another user Meylin or somethink like that, from India but wanna be Spain knows more.. :)

                    If you think Nokia doesn't put certain features in their phones because they don't have r&d money then you're delusional. Do you expect a mid-range phone to have everything?

                    If you must know, no, 6.1 plus is not worth it for $300 and I would pick qualcomm over mediatek every time, unless the phone is a great value for money.

                        Back to article, does this phone looks like bank for buck to you? Do you like notch phone, without iris scaner inside, do you like MediaTek optimization.. more than Qualcomm, does looks better buy Nokia X6 (6,1 Plus) than this, for like 30 euros more (one with 636, but still notch is there). Why HMD sold only 8,5 milions smartphones in 2017 (78 milions including feature phones like 3310, 4 versions etc). Do you have ansver for that? Is is reason because they are startupo company, does not have money for R&D bud have money for design new phones? How is that possible? .. I don't have nothing against new Nokias (some of them are actually good phones, like 7 Plus), but can't belive that they have fanboys/girls, i mean HMD.. :)

You claim foxconn pays them and it's YOU that must provide proof. How is it known if there is ZERO evidence around the internet. Just give me one article that mentions what you say.

                          Also, I have to repeat this again because you seem to ignore it, even IF there was some investment from foxconn, that does NOT mean they are among the owners.

                          The third point that you also ignore as hard as you can is that foxconn is NOT EVEN CHINESE. Even if foxconn was a majority owner of HMD, then that would make them a TAIWANESE company, not Chinese.

                            Samsung screens and Camera sensors are best in class , IPhone is supposed to be a company the designs their phones so intricately that most Chinese brands counterfeit them.

                            And watch the tests of Xiaomi phones they are by far the worst , Worst materials. So what is your determining factor for premium.

                            China and US have a greater Average Selling Price than India standing at 300$ and 450$ respectively as opposed to 150$ in India , Hence it makes great financial sense to launch in those markets.

There you go, you have Nokia X5, originality at the best.

                                  Use logic, because milions people knows that, thats why they calls new Nokia, Chinese (but HmD is based in Espoo, Finland company). Foxonn money is in HMD, HMD with that money pays Nokia for using name. HMD with that money was brought from Microsoft about 500 patents in 2017... I mean i dosen't mater, this X5 seems like low end copy cat with big chin and Mediatek inside. 7 Plus is better, even X6 (6.1 Plus) is way better phone i guess.

Maybe, but for my personal use i think that Samsung Galaxy S9 + is good phone with great (SA) display. No notch, 3.5 mm is there.. but it's not only one. LG have solid flagship (G 7 Thinq), Sony have speediest software on mobile (better than Pixels). One Plus have good flagship phone (but with notch), Xiaomi have good flagahip phone, and cheaper than rest(but notch again) - Mix 2s is alternative..
                                    Huawei with P20 Pro (but then again, notch). So if you wanna good flagship phone from 2018, with great display, camera, battery, but without notch, S9 + XZ2 or Mix 2s.. Still i think that S9 + have the best screen out there..
