I think nothing beats the N91 as of now as the best music phone out there in terms of sound quality (headset) & usability. But this Samsung Serenata is an audacious move from Samsung in introducing totally different device in terms of user experience, just like the Apple iPhone. Those unusual ideas that create totally unique products that usually & easily get noticed. ^_^

I don't understand the design of this music phone, really. I wonder what the user experience of this gadget when it's finally in your hands. Huh? As if I can buy this for-sure-is-an-expensive device. If I had money, I'd buy the N95 than this. I think this Samsung Serenata is merely a luxury gadget.

Screen at the bottom? Have they never heard of the words "usability" and "ergonomics"? What on earth have they been smoking?

This phone is superb. Simply art, just look at the speaker system, I thought its impossible to have hifi speaker in a phone but this one proved me wrong. A must have for a classy user.

Another desperate attempt by Samsung. I don't think they ever heard the term 'ergonomics' before. Stick to the Walkman range of music mobiles or get yourself an iPod. "Striking design", UGLY if you ask me...

i thought Nokia's prism topped my worst design of the year... talk about a design that makes mp3 players look like it were invented in the 1960's... navigation on top and screen on bottom, how the hell would you see the screen 100% with this sh*t when you'r using your thumb to navigate through?

perfectly true.... stick to SE's Walkman phones if ur lookin for a music phone...

what is this stupid thing is supposed to do?? "impress"??? it would rather make you look like a stupid teen holding his phone upside down... why would one want to have the screen of his phone to be on the lower part of the MP??? is this what Samsung calls ergonomics?? the screen will he hidden by ur thumb itself while using the kindof clickwheel... and will eventually be covered with "fingerprints"...

                      ridiculous and not functional...

Looks like an upside down iPod to me..... so 'design' is an overstatement. IMHO.

How are you supposed to write a txt message on this thing? Does it have a touch screen? or do you have to connect it to a pc to do anything usful? I'd have to agree that the design of this phone while very gimicy, isn't functional.

If I want to nice music phone I'll stick to the S.E. Walkman series and ignore this overpriced p.o.s. No, thanks, B&O!

one more bad decision by b&o to release a ridiculously overpriced p.o.s. - no one wants to spend $1000+ on a phone. they will sell about 8 phones, tops. nice try, b&o, back to the drawing board.

samsung should focus making better phones, most advanced, better camera, mp3 quality, BATTERTY~! not to make such a... snooty, snobbish schlock. what is that for? who needs that? corporate rats?

I had the Serene for a while and while the camera, lack of personalisation and (shocking) keypad were big problems, having the screen on the bottom was actually quite comfortable (you could also flip it round so it was on the top. Might be worth having a look at though it will probably be very expensive!
