I'm surprised it took them this long. Their smartphones were not realistically priced at all. At least not for the Indian market that's dominated by the likes of Xiaomi and Honor (budget segment)

I hope samsung quits too. Can't tolerate their crap budget and mid-range phones.
LG and Sony should move forward more aggressively otherwise they will perish too just like htc.
I hate xiaomi too. Beyond pathetic aftersale service.

Because of
1:- overpriced.
2:- it is not following mobile market conditions.
3:-no attractive design ( specially back).
4:- no latest processor and technology used.

Htc budget phones are complete garbage, no wonder no one brought them. The people in india are smarter than just blindly buying an expensive phone for brand name and xiaomi and other smartphone makers just make better phones with better specs for a lot less than what htc charges for their budget phones.
