Nokia X6 officially begins global rollout as Nokia 6.1 Plus

This is the first appearance outside of China and comes only in one storage configuration - 4GB/64GB.

Build quality of Nokia is so much better than Xiaomi. Aftersale service matters too. In my Mi A1, power button stopped working. It works after 4-5 tries. The service center guy re-installed the software! Can you believe that. I know 3 others who have same phone with the same problem. So don't talk about build quality.
I agree with you that Newer software updates may slow down the device. But that is true for every device.

Build quality a... moreAndroid OS updates dont guarantee you that the device will get better on hardware speed and battery life and especially when it first come out already with outdated hardware like most of the Nokias are. For this one SD636 isnt outdated but still it does not mean that the updates wont ruin it. We know in the past that it's not always good to get newer OS that use more resource. And we know that everything that gets more advanced in software or new title it wont be lower size. It's not like back in the day you had 1GB games that were wow big as of right now PC games typical size is 20GB to 50GB and some games like newest Forza is even 100GB in size. It's just to say that software gets newer so the size of it will get bigger so it takes more processing trough it.

    And as SD636, SD660 and SD710 that are low middle range to high middle range are all supported CPU's for Project Treble for Android updates and security updates. There are other brands that have these CPU's in there devices with lower price. And as everything need to fit in these devices the build quality is nothing so magical about Nokia that it cost more then others and we cant justify it as something too special that others are not able to come even close.

    And we live in the era where things are not build to last forever and supported forever cause it makes no business sense. They want you to buy new phones every after year or two cause otherwise they would not need to make new models and new models are for to sell more devices to get more money for there business.

    HMD Nokia is still a start up company that use old good brand name so they need to proof them selves first and they are not jet been out for 5 years that we can say they are something special over others.

    Especially when there are companies like Xiaomi that sell a lot cheaper there devices and they have proven that even there lower class phones get security updates for 3.5 years.

    I have Redmi Note 5 for over 2 months by now and so far i have got 3-4 updates that mostly are security updates or MIUI improvements and bug fixes.

          Launched originally in China. Launched globally in Hong Kong, a subsidiary of China. Thats something the real Nokia never did. And people say HMD Global is not Chinese? Haha.

            I can't comment about the aftersale service of asus but Nokia's is good.
            One thing that I hate about Nokia is that we can't unlock the bootloader. If that is not the issue then I will recommend you to buy X6. But only if the price difference is 3-4000.

Since the global variant is andorid one and the model launched in HK is android one, therefore this is the start of the launch of the global variant. A global launch doesn't happen in all countries at the same time.

                    As for taiwan, it is a part of china as much as UK is a part of US, which is zero.

                            With 6gb options available at the same price or less I can't justify buying this, even though the notch is minimal.

                              A question why should I choose this phone over Asus zenfone max pro M1 6GB variant for 15K INR?

                                      HK and taiwan are china. Thats no glabal launch. They are tiny parts of the world. .. launch it in geography/demographically big market/s then we can call it global launch in true sense of the term
