LOL. WP doesn't have the imaging capability of Symbian atm. That OS is so basic in every way. I wonder how many of you at least tried Symbian Belle to say that Windows Phone is better than it. Windows Phone should not even be called a smartphone OS. It is more dumb than iOS.

                Thumbs up for you Nokia!
Android has taken over the market of mobile computing industry...

there is no other choices of OS aside from Android or iOS...

now there's new thing to try... and i hope better this time! go forth!

Still, the speed difference seems vast enough that this should be able to run a thing or two faster. As a smartphone, to me N8's greatest downside is the poor screen resolution.

AnonD-5950, 06 Oct 2011If not for Steve Jobs, WP will be lame and too complicated ... more?

All of these things that you say Apple created already existed before Apples implementation. And there are already many ARM based desktops and OS's around. For perhaps a good decade now, since XScale.

And for what it's worth, almost every reviewer from Anandtech to CNet states Windows Phone 7 is easy to use and intuitive. Only one person whose taken the WP challenge said it wasn't intuitive. And judging from her critiques, she didn't seems all too bright.

..., 06 Oct 2011Wp doesnt seem good. And if I would buy a wp phone, i'd bet... moreHTC produces quite a few Windows phone: The HD7, HD7S, Surround, Trophy, 7 Pro, and Mozart. Plus the upcoming Titan and Radar.

It seems HTC may know something you don't.

Why do u guys hate nokia. Nokia is a good brand, its got quality most other brands dont offer. I mean why the hell should i buy a phone thats got a huge screan and monster specs, when it falls off my hand and shatters to pieces its useless!, whats the use of a huge spec phone if i have a laptop to browse, play great games and watch movies. Please lets leave a phone to do its job and a loptop do its own

[deleted post]Don't forget that the N8's processor is based on the outdated ARM11 processor, which roughly yields half the performance of a similarly clocked Cortex A8 processor. So since the N8 is clocked at 680MHz, the 1.4GHz processor on the Nokia Sun will perform four times better.

personally, i recently purchased the n8 because my e75 died and neither the pre3, nor the xperia arc have come out by then. i like my n8, but looking fwd to the infamous upgrades that was promised to the world; anyway, nokia can multitask and deliver the anna and belle updates to the NAM markets. Jobs has passed, this is a grand opportunity for a falling company to get it's act together.

would any other nokia owner care to chime in?
