Hopefully this also rids the problem of not enought power caused by the critical operating programs sapping power, preventing new applications from opening!!! My XDA Mini S had major problems caused as result of this!!!

Using 2 "slower" cores and switching one off when it's not needed seems to be a clever way of increasing battery life.
Although...I'm not expecting any incredible processing power gains.
