... moreSteve was not against big screens. He was against big sizes.
By now he'd probably be sporting 5 inches because we have the tech to kill the bezels and keep the device as small as the original iPhone.
Steve would disagree with the upgrade to 4.7 inches though, especially since it happened during the fat bezel era.
Imo the projection would be as follows (3.5, fat bezels, 4, trim bezels, 5, basically baseless). So in that regard Apple has not strayed from Jobs' way of doing thing.
The one place they strayed was beeping the home button for so long (Jobs removed most of iPad buttons in just 6 years of it's existence , so by 2013 he would had got rid of the remaining iPhone button).
Also Jobs hated having multiple ports. So they took them too long to remove the 3.5mm. He 'd probably had done it a year or two beforehand and he would had done it in such a way (most/all headphone manufacturers supporting lightning) that everybody would agree it is a move for the best.
He was not a hard to understand personality. He basically hated fluff. So most of everything fandroids love, he hated. Take the typical fandroid, inverse him and you can make a my!to billion company.

Sad to see Apple going all notch. Will there be Touch ID? Also sad to see the old iPhone design getting retired. Yes, it was somewhat outdated but it was very practical, simple and timeless. It's a design that everyone knows because it was unique, representing Apple themselves and somewhat iconic of a smartphone...

On my Android phones, I use an app called Call Blacklist Pro. I needed to get rid of my T-Mobile voicemail because the bot calls would still leave a vm even after my app would hang up on it. Then I just blacklist numbers starting with +11, +12, etc. I would whitelist my contacts and certain area codes for my work. I used Should I Answer but ended up preferring Call Blacklist Pro instead.
That's the problem with Apple. There isn't much choice to customize things to your liking. I even use Kiwi Browser as my default which can play the YouTube audio while I leave the app. I've used both platforms long enough already. Ten years with iOS and seven with Android. Apple really is about draconian and communism.
I have no interest in any new iPhones. I can finally accept the no headphone jack trend as I plan to go wireless headphones but the hideous notch, glass backs, and iOS' limitations out of the box are still a turn off. A new iPhone can be sold for $200 like an SE, and I still wouldn't buy it. I'm extremely comfortable using Android for the rest of my life. No need to use anything other mobile OS for me.
