Of course LG has lost market share in the mid-range and low-end segments! Their crappy K phones can't compete against Huawei and Xiaomi in terms of features, build quality, materials, software and support. They are too slow into learning from their mistakes and into adapting to the global and emerging markets. LG should follow the steps of (for example) Nokia: First of all, good marketing and post-sales departments strategies. A lot less models and without fragmentations despite the markets (very annoying you don't receive the same Q - G - V phones all around the world), and they have to improve build quality, software optimization and updates... Or sale the mobile division to people who knows better how to do it!

biggest problem of LG phones is they release many different versions of same devise ( for US, for Europe, for Korea etc) with different LTE bands.
Please go OnePlus way - they have one global version!! with all LTEcovered

Dan, 26 Jul 2018Where to buy V35 Thinq in Europe? LG always have a problems... moreAbsolutely right Dan, LG are shockingly bad at getting handsets out there. I can understand a phone thats been designed for a certain region or country but its flagship phone?? Its a struggle to get hold of the V30 as carphone warehouse has exclusive rights of it and there a really bad company to deal with. Would love the V35 to come out in the uk but by the time it does the V40 will be announced and theres no interest in the v35 anymore. and LG wonder why they dont sell as many handsets as other?

Nero, 26 Jul 2018My last phone was LG G4. After that I never looked to LG. H... moreI was a victim 0f LG V20's marketing. Despite focus on video modes and removal battery it delivered poor results. Got Note 8 and I Love it.

Sony and LG, they do have a great phones. But people doesn't know about it. When Oppo started to launch multiple TV commercial, posters(a lot of posters), and the "Selfie Expert" tagline Oppo's sales grows rapidly especially in South East Asia. Well LG spends millions in advertising but they're doing it in the wrong way. While Sony's Marketing is sleeping.

They need 3 flagships, launched in August each year (avoids Huawei competition, and Pixel competition).
5.5 inch, 6 inch, 6.4 inch (I am not including the notch area in the size).
845 in them all, 6GB in them all, Oled in them all. battery sizes of 3400mA, 3800mA, 4100mA
The 6.4 inch can have the stylus. The rest of the stats are the same. Headphone jack, wireless charging, decent storage, Quick Charge 4. LG V30 has superb battery life, so the ones above should be comfortably specced. No shabby variants per market.
They also need to improve their camera game, the V35 ThinQ video looked awful in a review I have just watched.

LG should not follow sheepishly the notch craze, make one or at most two smart, symmetrical flagship phones, and 3-4 lower-midrange ones. Proper midrange phones, not that junk when they try to sell MT6750 phones for EUR250 and still can't figure out why people just can't even.

maybe if they follow ways of samsung that create and not copy(notch) then people might just find their phones attractive.
was a die hard lg fan from g2 till g6 and then we had a notch!
