After all, who reinforced the idea of wireless is the future, USB C all the things, and was thinking about dropping the charging port from their 1000 dollar handset

Ah! That explains a lot!
So my 4-year-old battery which can hold up to 3 hours of usage when necessary is wrong, it should die in a second.
Download speed is because phone is slow not because the coverage is rubbish.
And I should pay ~$1000 to get storage because I can't backup my things and I can't buy a $50 128 GB SD card...
And to top it off, it's just an S9 with a pen XD

Yeah but the device blows. Design wise Stevie Wonder could've designed this phone better. Been holding out getting a new device since my Note 5 and now I'll probably wait for Pixel 3 since this year's Note has been nothing but disappointment.

.alpha, 26 Jul 2018Samsung phones have among the worst battery of all Android phonesThats true to Samsung flagships excluding the s7 edge exynos and the "active" models. NOTE 9 will definitely have good batterylife. Midrange ones have outstanding batterylife.

You can get good battery life out of an iPhone X but it needs to be on power saving mode. If I forget to put it on, the battery is rinsed sometimes beyond my control.
Performance wise, Apple can't talk ****. iOS 11 is utter garbage. Its slow, convoluted unnecessarily and buggy AF. Android is faster. My Pixel 1st Generation is faster! What a joke. And £1k for the privilege? Forget it Apple. You've lost the plot. Even Samsung knows to not cross us consumers and buyers with that price tag.
9 series eliminated lag on the + models with 6gb of ram and the Note will do the same. Note 8 tbf didn't lag from what I've seen but my iPhone X does lag, sometimes even in the settings menu! and this is even on iOS 12! 3GB ram is a joke and apps reload more than I want when I've paid £1k for a phone. Thumbs down to Apple.
