I watched the iphone 4s keynote and like most people i thought Apple had dropped the ball. until i saw Siri yes loads of other phones have voice commands but i am afraid even if Apple bought the company they have killed it in that area. of course to many people and especially people from Android just talk about the lack of a bigger screen and no different design and maybe if you had the iphone 4 it wouldnt be worth it to upgrade to the 4s but what i saw at the keynote was the future. it is common place now to do a short text using your voice or to to say show me a map of Paris it is a different thing all together to get dressed in the morning and ask your phone do i need a coat and it to respond back or to book meetings and when you get to a certain location for it to verbal remind you that you need to get the shopping. i am sure it not perfect thats why for the first time in my life i have seen Apple talk about it just being in beta. And even when i was talking about it with my brother i thought how many people are really going to be walking along and talking to their phones. But i have to say Android and Microsoft and especially Android are going to have to come up with something that good. No matter how many times i are ask for a map of my home town it can never get it right and speech to txt is just not worth the effort on my Android handset. Yep in that area sorry to say iphone won.

Either you saw it and it's undeniable truth and cannot admit it on here. Or you are so blinded by Iphone you didn't see it either way. A copy is a copy. The Iphone heavily resembles the Lg Prada and Samsung F700. bouth announced before the Iphone. The F700 by about a year. The Lg Prada was released first. Then the Iphone, followed by the F700 prototype days later. Though the F700 had a keypad. If you can't see the resemblance in either then there is no phone in the world that resembles each other.

With top-end handsets being so good today across the board, the best handset won't always be the one with the best processor, graphics, OS and so on. It's the whole package and how it suits you best.

[deleted post]I would suggest you to do some Google... The presales figures are reported by the AT & T carrier and not by Apple... There are 2 more carriers out there so the actual preorder figures would be pretty larger.. And this is just the preorder... When it actually goes on sale it will be a record - breaker... So I can safely bet it will be another great success for Apple...

Dont you think that's an ambiguous, fact deficient statement? One idiot says 100 good things about the iPhone and the next second, another idiot tries to counter those 100 points by pointing out 150 unrelated points bout Android. So what are you comparing and where are u headed with such a conversion?
Whats BEST to me may not be the BEST to u. Personally I believe Android is better then the iPhone. BECAUSE, it works for me better then the iPhone. BUT!! you dont have to agree with me! You believe that the iPhone is better? Thats cool with me. Probably there are features that u like better on an iPhone.
The market is filled with so many expectations, and NO SINGLE PHONE can meet all of it.
So stop this back and forth bout iOS and Android. Stick to what you think is awesome and move on!

The problem comes when we concentrate on the word "best". At the end of the day, most of the top smartphones we get now are very very "good". Seriously, I am a very big iPhone fan, but if someone gave me an SGS2, I would probably be very happy, and vice versa. There are little little differences to be sure, but I don't remember humanity dying, when there were only dumbphones available.
At the end of the day, I enjoy tech first and foremost. I will never limit myself purely to iOS or Android. I would rather be open to both. Just because I use iOS now, does NOT mean I have to hate Android.
Wonder whether the dumbphone wars of Nokia vs Sony Ercisson camera was worth it, now that it is totally irrelevant and people have moved on to smartphones? Wouldn't it have been better just enjoying the tech?
Who knows, in 5 years time, maybe we'll all sound like idiots, when WP7 has 90% market share. (Just an example), or when holographic wrist communication devices render smartphones obsolete lol. At that time, maybe the Ben10 fanboys will be laughing at us, out of date and old people hahaha.

Mr Job's passing appears a disingenuous excuse. My gut says the iPhone4S is not a market leader so why should Samsung cannibalize the market for products it still needs to ship. Yes, many people will buy i4S, but it doesn't advance the state of the art. With the GalaxySII still selling well, and the Galaxy 8.9 / Galaxy 7.7 / Galaxy 7 Plus market panting for the 3G or LTE versions, Samsung has an existing base that still needs to be exploited. The butcher S.R. Hademan, "why sell one, when you can sell two at twice the price."
Google gets more time to polish ICS.

I believe its just because of Steve Jobs sad demise. Yes, this is not the right time. Being a part of Apple we are still sad about Steve Jobs death. He was a great person and those who know him well can realize that.
We do expect the release of Nexus prime within a month or two.
