OnePlus 3 and 3T to get Android P update

How is this a good news??? because substratum will not work on Android P for OnePlus 3/3T. Also I get this annoying system update notification to update to Oxygen OS 5.0.4, anything after march security patch, breaks substratum on Oreo and doesn't support Android P.

Another reason to not upgrade. Oneplus must be run by a bipolar person, on one hand they are releasing 2 phones a year, without a justifiable reason beyond feeding peoples' upgraditis, and on the other hand they are updating older phones.
In the meantime my 3T still does everything I want in a phone.

OnePlus 3 launched with Marshmallow 6.0... So if they release android P 9.0 for it then it means 3 OS updates... That's highly impressive in the android world.

Just buy a 3T from a friend of mine couple of days ago, and now I see this! Great Work OP! Feel really happy that I will get P on my device soon! Keep it up! #neversettle

Android P? Does that mean it'll come with Project Treble support? That'll be great news and means better long term custom rom support!

This is great news for OP users. Commendable support from the company. Hopefully this will be noticed by competition ao they can up their game with longer update support.
