Counterpoint: OnePlus 6 shipments beat Galaxy S9+ almost 3:1 in India

31 July 2018
OnePlus beat Samsung in the premium market in India for the first time in its history. The OnePlus 6 dominated the market, the 5T did well too.

SohailSays, 31 Jul 2018Most probably due to clean and pure software experience and... moreNo. The only reason is the price. 99% will go for the S9 (not S9+) even if it is priced $200 above the price of OP6.

Oxygen OS over Samsung Experience UI for most users here. Right?
(I also praise Oxygen OS for being very clean and customizable too.)

Most probably due to clean and pure software experience and also the hardware.

Lightning McQueen, 31 Jul 2018Nice job here, but sorry no point of buying OnePlus 6 in my... moreAnd sadly tho, both Vivo and Oneplus is under one big umbrella company, BBK Electronics... That's weird to heard such a information...

Well done Oneplus, the price brackets are what have helped, samsung is high compared to Oneplus 6, yet the difference in technology probably isnt as far as the price suggests either

Can't fault OP6 here, it may not be the best flagship on the market , but it does like 90-95% of other flagships at almost half of the price, thus being one of the best value for money (if not the best) flagship device .

That is an extreme stretch of things. You wouldn't even have been able to get a premium phone for 370 euros when the original Galaxy S phone launched a decade ago. The One Plus 6 is a great phone for its price, but you can get almost two of them for the price of a premium phone, can't you?

Nice job here, but sorry no point of buying OnePlus 6 in my country which is Singapore as government does not wants to open OnePlus market in favour of Vivo phones.

I don't think it's fair to compare them since they're priced quite differently. But good for OnePlus I guess, their phones don't reach my country so...
