First, it was the Sea Ray, then the Sun, then Lumia, the Nokia 800?
WHY? You don't know what to google for nowadays... .

Android will still be the first manufacturer choice since it allow deep customization, this provide differentiation between devices, unlike windows phone all devices are the same.

I'm looking forward to a qwerty model.

Also, no info as of yet if the headsets will have remote control like the Symbian ones. I really would hate to take the phone out of my pocket every time I wanted to change a song, or volume.

Just so no-one perceives me to be a moronic Nokia fanboy, I have been a hardcore SE fan for seven years and just got myself an Android-running Xperia ray.

However, if you think about (and I mean "think", as in using your brains, fanboys) Windows-powered Nokia phones have everything to become successful.

First, Nokia has been THE brand for casual phone buyers who know nothing about phones for a decade or more. Second, said phone buyers are so tech-ignorant that they probably couldn't name a mobile OS if you stuck a gun in their face. But they'll definitely have heard of Windows. Android, bada, iOS, etc., will mean nothing to them, so they'll gravitate towards the probably the only system they've heard of when buying a smartphone, i.e., Windows.

These people won't want to dish out the big money needed for an iPhone, but will gladly adopt a WP Nokia subsidized by a carrier.

Manufacturers will be tired of paying Microsoft for every Android phone sold, so once they see Nokia phones take off, they will probably be more encouraged to come out with WP7 phones of their own.

You can even say your SGS2 is more beautiful, it is subjective after all, but seriously, to call this phone ugly? That's just Android player hater talk right there.

Cyd07, 10 Oct 2011Sadly there are capacitative buttons...the N9 body was tge ... morenokia didn't use 4.3 inch screens because unlike samsung and htc they don't worry about deceiving people to think they are better than the iPhone..they used 3.7 inches screen because they know that average people find it harder to use a screen bigger than that...not everyone has the same hand size like u..
