The sunspider benchmark doesn't say anything about the hardware. It tells you how well the java-interpreter works.
So it's useless for benchmarking.

Hahaha Samsung is trying to catch up but even they are soon releasing devices equipped with 2GHz dual-cores an ~800MHz dual-core 4s can beat them into the ground! Apple=Quality

All those ? symbols where the iPhone showed pictures.
Is that what it's like for you guys with your browsing experience? left wondering what the true web should look like coz where all the pics are you just see ? signs...
& even when he turned flash off the SGS was still light years behind the iPhone in terms of speed.

I challenge these findings 200% GSM Arena how can 1GHz dual core phone that doesnt support LTE outperform a 1.2Ghz dual core phone by twice as much?????????????? Conduct your own study before your embarrissed by Apple partisan websites!

Lol. Nice try though. For what the Iphone is capable you alternative is better because that's what the Iphone handles better.

It really comes down to what you want in a phone. I was ready to jump ship and buy the new iPhone 5 because I figured it would have an amazing screen that was 4" plus. To say I am disappointed that they did not upgrade their next phone's screen size is an understatement. Just give me a big screen with crystal clarity and I will buy. Now...I have to wait for Samsung to announce the new Nexus Prime (or whatever they call it) and pray the screen is as beautiful as I hope.

Android os is better but apple os use less ram so it runs smoother than android

As we move forward, the arguments against the iPhone approach are fading out. 4 years of no Flash has shown that there is no discernible difference. Instead, it has proven to be an advantage as Steve Jobs had envisioned all along.

1)but sg2 was running with lot of back ground widgets ,apps,even look at the notification bar...damn
2)ios 5 doesn't support flash( it was also a favour)but android was trying to load fulll flash content....and also heavy os ...
anyway its not the excuses in the competetion to point out its all about the phone...ics may fix it ....

AnonD-672, 13 Oct 2011iphone 4s has no flash.. therefore iphone loses every timeAnd i give big thumb up's for apple for that, without Apple we would still use heavy laggy flash on our phone, instead now we can watch smooth html5 animation's and smooth videos EVERYTIME! also html5 games run's better than flash games. (not sure about this new flash 11)

the benchmarks on iphone 4s doesn't use v-sync turned on! and in samsung galaxy s2 always turned on!
