My dear fellows gs2 users pls try n understand those who use iphone cuz they like simple stuffs since their brain cant gt any higher than being simple which i dnt hv any issuses n i dnt tink i nid to say hw incredible gs2 is ...so lets drop this forever on going war btwn iphone n galaxy cuz we knw wt is best n if dey cnt gt it den i tink its....

What makes the difference at all really is the pixels. I think the size only makes a fractions difference. And yes the Gs2 is nearly perfect

No flash content,No radio, 3.5" screen how can you even compare this thing with SgsII.It does so well on the browser mark because it doesn't have to render flash

There's plenty of sample photos now in internet and i have to say 4S have very good camera, Sony and Apple did a great job!!! Very sharp natural looking photos. Not candy colours like iPhone 4.

Screen is still too small so I don't care about those specs. Only thing I like is the camera though

i guess now we can see where the extra £15 a month goes mmmm. think i would rather save my £180 and use the gs11, this all might look good on paper but in reality are u really gonna notice the difference i doubt it

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2011dude screen size doesn't matter..it is the number of pixels... moreagain i did not write that to make apple fans feel bad just want to again give u some examples if u are using phone,tablet,laptop,pc monitor,led or lcd tv of diffrent screen sizes it will surely affect the performance hardware the bigger the screen size the bigger amt of data will be consumed while browsing cause the pictures will be bigger on bigger screen and gpu has to work harder on bigger screen i thought i wudnt have to write this to make u understand cause u ppl are on gsmarena but still if u do not belive me us can search it on google again i do not hate apple but if it wud have atleast 4inches of screen it wud have made me a little envy and 4.3 is the best size for mobile not too big and not too small my gs2 is pocketable ,and i also like the fact that its very light waighted ,no lag whatsoever ,excellet camera,hd video recording ,led flash light is brighest even u compare it wil duel led flash ,uses skype video calling using front camera ,plays allmost all latest highend games also has voice guided messaging and control over other features,super amoled plus screen and also have option of 2000mah battery for heavy users and u know i wud not even go for gs3 or nexus prime cause they will have much bigger screen size than gs2 and the hardware is toomuch loaded i think 1.2 or maximum1.5gz speed is ok for smartphone and 1gb ram is also enough yes 12mega pixel of cam is a wellcome but again u will have to pay the primum price for that phone gs2 is best and affordable and offers balenced features thats what makes it THE GREATEST SMARTPHONE EVER.

1300ms sunspider test on sgs 2 firefox browser 97000 in browser mark. Someone who done them tests get paid from apple.

iphone 4s much better than other htcor samsung mobile i also have htc and other now i am using iphone 4 its much better than other boaring mobiles

Other than that, of course, we can wait, more and more benchmarks will come eventually. I am sure that there are pros and cons to the iPhone 4S. In general however, it does look to be an impressive upgrade to the iPhone 4.
Important to note though, even if iPhone 4S broke every speed record, suddenly included Flash, helped to bathe you in the morning, developed Bluetooth file transfer, made breakfast and even tucked you into bed at night, there will still be some who can find a bad thing to say about it.
What is important is that you buy a gadget that suits you, and your needs. this may be Apple, Android, WP7, whatever. Make it your choice, not someone elses.

I'm no fan of Apple but for once I have to say I am impressed with this phone's hardward.
HOWEVER... these results seem almost too good to be true. How can we be sure these screenshots are genuine and not just made up?

@Anonymous: You don't believe me. Fine. Go try it on a friend's Galaxy S II with Dolphin browser. I'm sure it'll be at least as fast as the iPhone 4s.
At the end of the day these javascript benchmarks don't show that much. Surprised at the number of people saying that iPhone 4s is faster than all Androids based on JUST these benchmarks.

Omg! I wonder how Gsmarena tested SGS2 benchmark. I manage to get 87k-90k in browsermark,2k-2.2k in sunspider with a lousy 3g network.

You guys do know the source is Anandtech right? They are very unbiased, and are very critical of Apple even, when necessary. I would rather put my belief with them and their testing methods, rather than some strangers on comment sections.
