If any American is seriously going to attempt to try to buy this, don't be dumb and just get the Alcatel GO FLIP or Kyocera flip phones with LTE that are out now.

Can't believe they have USB-C, not even the redmi note 5 AI does. The lack of cameras and headphone jack are ridiculous though

I expect feature phone what will have:
1) very good camera
2) very good battery life
3) wifi hotspot
4) small size to fit into pocket
thats all! if i want to browse in internet then i can use wifi hotspot function and big screen tablet or laptop.

For $30, i have seen other old 2nd hand smartphones that has a headphone jack for god's sake which is a better buy if you want the nostalgia.

However, most people don't hold that against them because their phones are so darn cheap.

Qin featurephones are trying to be next Apple iFeature (sarcasm) wannabe due to no headphone jack from iPhone 7 onwards. These phones are trying to target Apple and Mi Series users who are used to not having the headphone jack, provided they need it as a backup. Xiaomi, if you have the conscience, please don't encourage other brands like Nokia to drop the headphone jack on Nokia's future feature phones.

I... morei have a redmi note 4. caller id issues, software stability issues, overheating issues - gave up and used a custom ROM - but the phone is so bad that even after using a custom ROM based on Pixel, the same issues show up (god knows how).
very few 'real' people i've met have had a good long-term experience with Xiaomi and absolutely nobody i know has had a good experience with Redmi Note 4.

I have been using my Redmi note 4 Snapdragon for over year now with no single issue. The battery is still holding up great, I still get averagely 7 hrs of screen on-time on heavy usage.
