Why is everyone complaining about the headphone jack. C'mon the sound on any other feature phone is horrible, why would You even listen to it. Same with the camera. No one uses a 2 MP camera on a feature phone... It's meant to be cheap and durable device that You can call people on... actually what a phone is.

It have 4G radio to advertise. No headphone jack ironically. Have USB C and you need a dongle if you want to use earphone. Lets just say feature phone is truly dumbphone.

Do this with a version of the Mi MIX line, add battery size instead of the cameras, and you have yourself a buyer here.

          Could have had Nano Sim!

"USB C" on these phones, tears of happiness in eyes..!!

Anonymous, 03 Aug 2018Is there anything similar to this phone, but with a headpho... moreYou'd have to check available Nokia feature phones in your region (international link is https://www.nokia.com/en_int/phones/all-phones). However, they're more expensive (no surprises), and Xiaomi appears to have a winner on their hands as the value proposition is impressive. Why they had to remove the headphone jack beats me.

The only thing one would have to worry about is repairability. Nokia feature phones are extremely reliable and have two decades worth of customer satisfaction to ride on. Xiaomi smartphones are not known to have such reliability, so I don't expect it to be much different with these feature phones.

Somewhat like a light version of the Nokia 8110 4G.
But certainly an aggressive price point,
If the battery is removable it could make it an ideal 'spare' device for many.
...Or an emergency device to place in the glove compartment in the car.

I'm glad they didn't put any camera, cameras on feature phones are absolute garbage and do nothing but raise the price

I believe the Cameras on Feature Phones are useless and hardly anyone uses it... But Xiaomi should have done something great than removing it at all... Even the Headphone Jack... How bad it will look that one is using more expensive Headphones with a Cheaper Phone... :D

I would want one. I hope they do have this available in regions in Africa. So far no one is bothering to retail any Xiaomi products here.

"Both phones have a USB-C charger..." ...Meanwhile most of Xiaomi smartphones are stuck in the microusb mud. Oh my dear irony...

                            More like a featureless phoned

Why no jack? :(((( Nokia 101 feature phone was my favourite phone because it has sd card slot and can be used as mp3 player. Need to use Usb-c to jack connector to listen some mp3 is not convenient.
