If you just count the fact that it is more or less an image panning left and right and zooming in and out with some hot links etc...

Go try a real browser. Or idroid the iphone 4s and make it do a real test

AnonD-20221, 11 Oct 2011Thats a lame excuse... That just means you bought a more po... moreIt's not an excuse. And you should examine the facts a bit: the GSII has been around for some time now, way before your precious iPhone was even rumored to be announced, let alone released. Now, I bought the GSII for what it WAS, not for what it WILL BE. I realize how idiotic this discussion is, so you can keep jabbering. I got the GSII to do the stuff I need it to do, and it does so flawlessly, much better than any Apple prpduct I've used, and that's all that matters to me. And when ICS hits, it'll just be better at what I need it to do, without spending a small fortune on a phone that'll be obsolete when the next iPhone comes out, while the GSII will remain very much usable for at least 2 years.

This Benchmark is really showing IOS was well built.

New OS, Tweaked to a small sandbox of hardware, win win.

Android 2.3 outdated OS, It was released a while back, it's a little unfair considering hardware advantages of many android devices.

I respect what Apple is doing and I'm also very impressed with the performance numbers of the new 4S. But why do Apple always come out with replacement phones? Why can't they start releasing new phones in parallel in different sizes or something?

Google (OS) + all these big mobile phone companies (hardware and interfaces) will outlast Apple (has to worry about hardware and software) in long term.

                      -No universal micro usb connection
                      -No big Super Amoled screen

AnonD-20221, 11 Oct 2011Thats a lame excuse... That just means you bought a more po... moreu forgot one thing which is simple ,

Apple already started project on A6 Chips but they are going towards another manufacturer instead of samsung.

until now apple designs and samsung manufactures.

iPad 3 will show what real performance is..........

A5 is nothing compared to A6 i think . I mean i expect lot better performance and battery life.

At that time i think Ice cream sandwich comes.
I mean by that time their OS gets like 250 apps.

Now honeycomb has like 100 apps ? maybe idk.

until now they said iPad is bigger ipod touch and ICS update said they run same OS on both tablets and phones.

Now i am gonna laugh so hard about the comments they made on ipod touch and ipad.

Now everyone using tablets after making useless comments.
and now this update makes me feel "LMAO"

then u compare A6 vs ice cream sandwich running devices

That just means you bought a more powerful phone than me in terms of specs before me but now within a few days I am actually going to utilise the specs which you are unable to despite having it just because Gingerbread does not support dual cores... And by the time you actually get to use that specs, another Droid with even more powerful specs will come out which again I feel will not be utilised...

Now what can say Android Fan-boys?

The SG2 has been devastated and now there is no flagship running against Apple, this is just sad for them, also comparing the iPhone 4S has some kind less specs than Optimus, Droid, Galaxy phones....

Very nice Apple you still in the game!!!! And not just that, you just pulverize everything behind you....

Customizations on the iPhone is posible with a jailbreak. You're geek enough to root an Android, then you're geek enough to jailbreak an iPhone. Btw, jailbreaking is much more easier to do than rooting an Android phone. It is also miles easier to un-jailbreak than to unroot an Android phone. Arguments about no customizations on an iPhone has long been null and void. Widgets? There are tons of widgets for the iPhone. You want freedom? It's just a few clicks away on an iPhone. Too poor to buy apps and would prefer and risk using pirated apps? There's Installous for the iPhone.

I love Nokia but I cannot deny that Apple did dual cores right on the 4S and iPad 2. Apple is not even advertising the speed like the Android OEMs but instead, they're letting the performance speak for itself.

Every consumer wins. This benchmark will force other mobile OS developer to optimize their codes. Looking forward to a healthy competition.
