The iPhone 4S CPU is twice faster than that of the iPhone 4, while the GPU got an 8x boost.

I'm a gadget addicted. I iPhone 4 and SGS2, I have Alienware and Macbook air, I have a 4 SLI Hexa Core Desktop and a Mac mini.

Dude, cut the fanboysism. Bringing into phones, SGS2 is still fatest because those tests are NOT RENDERING anything. But, so what if iPhone 4GS be faster? I really wants that so I can buy it and enjoy it so much I do with my SGS2.

I use the iPhone for the Apple environment at home, it's really good. I so still use my SGS2 for the freedom of Choice and the sharing between it and my Samsung Smartv is awesome.

So, cut the crap, and do like me, buy both of them and be happy!!

Cheers!

[deleted post]LOL iPhone users are women 35+ eh? Its like me saying in my opinion Android users are spotty teenager boys just hitting puberty, and all intelligent people go for the iPhone option.....Now we know both statements aint true but if were out to make assumptions then a lot of people would go with mine, as soon as an iPhone post comes out we get a hoard of angry Android users getting stupidely defensive over their inferior handset lol

And top Execs using Blackberrys. Maybe they are incapable of using an iPhone? Their idea of a good lunch is a prawn sandwich. Their idea of a good night out is paying £100+ of a plate of vegetables with a bit of meat? Who knows...

Alot of you "Tech-geeks" don't understand how processors work in mobile phones, and in general really.

If you have a 1ghz cpu underclocked to say 500mhz, you'll still be getting the "raw power" of say what a 1ghz cpu will be pushing out, except you will have the consistancy of not having a laggy device or "performance spikes"

So an underclocked cpu is better, less lag, less heat, less batter / power use.

Apple are doing great in that respect, you don't need a monster cpu.

Looks like a lot of Android fanboys are visiting Egypt this year:

Funny how iPhone keeps adding new features, yet the Android arguments remain old. All the old comments have been debated to death, both sides are aware now, and those who needed to switch, have switched to their platform of choice.

Nothing new to say? Or just unable to comment on the new features?

iOS 5 is a huge improvement, and Siri has no equal in the field. Enjoy your Voice Actions lol.

Wow stop with the fanboy war!!!
Everyone will have their own opinion on specific phones!
There is no phone better than the other!
Android is a great OS but it has many flaws! I myself have HTC Desire and Samsung Galaxy S2! It is nice but there are flaws that I wish they would change under the hood and visually.

iOS is also a great OS but it feels very limited! The iPhone 4S itself is outselling HTC and Samsung individually (not together).

People have different taste! So stop being fanboys!

The iPhone 4S benchmarks are out and it would seem they are nothing less than amazing. Unfortunately the graphics benchmark that was released by Anandtech earlier today is as synthetic as it gets; the tests used were "offscreen", in other words no image was rendered during the test. Offscreen means that the would-be-rendered image is HD but unfortunately none of the tests used an actual 720p output and monitor to verify the results.

                          Hahahahaha fake results.

1.cannot transfer files to other phones VIA BLUETOOTH(except iphone) - There are apps available to enable this, but this really aint that much of an issue for most iPhone users.
2.way more expensive than the other phones - You really need toget your facts right. Its the same price as an HTC Sensation SE and in the same bracket many other top end smartphones.
3.user experience is no match for android - Really? Really? Another inaccurate fact LOL ha ha
4.it cannot be customized - What does that mean? So you can have pointless 7 home screens and we have the one, you can have a battery draining wallpaper and we have our home screen wallpaper. So you have more customising options, we have the better phone :)
5.the big one....no FLASH SUPPORT!!! The only real advantage Androids have. But most of our streaming requirements are met through HTML5, Skyfire, so no big deal for most iPhone users.

Dude, try an iPhone instead of going with the cliche of iPhone haters who have never used one before.

iPhone's multitasking system is a more advanced system of multitasking and task switching, which is optimized for mobile devices. Android manufacturers would like to implement the same, but Android OS does not allow it, if Samsung SGS2 implemented it, battery life would probably double.

                                      The first test is irrelevant.

The truth is that iPhone doesn't output 720p as the OFFSCREEN test suggests. OFFSCREEN is supposed to virtually render a 720p image.

Neither of the sources have mentioned that iPhone can't actually render 720p. iPhone mirrors it's own resolution, hence the test is biased: http://theiphonefever.blogspot.com/2011/10/iphone-4s-results-out-iphone-finally.html

I am impressed with the benchmark. Must admit on this day, the iPhone 4S really shows its performance. As for GS2, I think for the moment, although the Gingerbread is not utilizing its dual core to its maximum potential, it should be clear now that the iPhone 4S is the true winner for those particular benchmark..at least, for now. And, I'm using GS2 since it was launched in my country, but I must say iPhone 4S is really great for now based on the benchmark. Come on, its good to have competition, and I am looking forward to see if the ICS running the Nexus Prime has what to offer. Congrate Apple!
