Go and use your Chinese phones... I had an op 3T and an xiaomi mimix 2... great specifications on the paper and some ppl recommended me this phones... but I don't know how someone can live with this kind of broken devices...
So...... go ahead with your 8gb of ram... and try to sell your shit to someone else... I think Google knows better how much ram is needed for a good experience...

I think they will try and add more money on top of the version of pixil XL's, say the 64gb has the 4gb ram and if I pay more say for the 128gb that will come with the 6gb ram, hopefully they do this because it's time for me to upgrade from the first pixel XL otherwise I'll go with the mate 20

you have been even never 100 feet near OnePlus smartphone, let alone use it, so you are jealous of OnePlus users, and the net result is your frustrations are through the roof and it is showing and btw Google pixel is trash(its simply and iPhone wannabe, it ill never become one thats for sure) and 8 GB is absolutely useful :)

And what is the joke with "Splash resistant"? They can't stick the phone... how to buy a phone with "Splash resistant"? From start is obvious that the manufacturer uses bad quality components... glue :)) ... etc......
And about Oxygen OS FEATURES... if they are so good at software... why they use android? Do you want to say they build a better interface? Do you know why iPhone have less RAM? Because they have a clean software and don't need 8GB full with "Oxygen" trash!!!!

I don't care if the phone has 4gb or 8gb of ram... or 60MP camera... if the final results are better... believe me... I don't use a paper with specifications!!! If you want a good looking paper go and buy XIAOMI, OPO....etc.... (but don't cry if you are unable to cast on a tv with your 20gb of RAM or you will use a pixel ported camera full with bugs).

It seems Google doesn't make phones to sell it. It just makes it for fun or "because other guys do". I'd live with those 4GB though if the phone's price was around $500. Otherwise no, thanks.

3)It doesn't really have the best camera, only the best software. The hardware itself is very mediocre. Sony, Huawei & even Samsung use far better camera sensor than Google. The only reason why Pixel's photos turn out better are due to post-processing which is done by Google's advanced software.

Maybe OnePlus updates are 2 months delayed no but problem Oxygen OS >>>> Stock Android
Camera is not a world apart from OnePlus and differences are shrunk down to color temperature, Saturation and Noise thats it
That being said at price of the Base model 64gb pixel 5.4 inch phone you get 6.2 inch best 1080p AMOLED on the Universe
256 GB ultra fast UFS Memory
8GB rams that blows the pixel out of water
Oxygen OS FEATURES : Applock, Guest mode, game mode, Better Always on display, Better App scaling than Google Pixel, Ultra responsive UI than Pixel and the list keepes getting better and better!!!!
Simply Pixel cant actully compete with OnePlus, so they incorprated "Machine Learing" to keep their camera better perform only with deault HDR
And hell, i even use Googles HDR in my same OnePlus using a small mod from XDA, without paying an additional Extrs 600$ for an inferior phone with a good camera
