You can hide the notch by never leaving your house. Strangers will laugh in your face for carrying such hideous phone in public places. :)

That big notch is obnoxious. Also, 4GB RAM in 2018 is unacceptable for a flagship. Running stock google doesn't really help much in the long-term as proven my Marques Brownlee's video.
