    2xx: Smartwatches, IoT and feature phones
    4xx: Android Go phones, overpriced midrange phones and efficient phones
    6xx: Kyro-based, high efficiency and power to spare
    7xx: A tad below the flagship, usually the GPU is less powerful than last year flagship. AI goodies on top
    8xx: Flagship. All-in performance in a mobile envelope
    1xxx: Flagship. Performance++. Not for phones.

What I was trying to say is that there's already an offering for upper midrange--and that is SD710--so it would become obsolete, coz manufacturers would opt for the better soc between them(SD670/SD710). It's just like what happened to SD630; there's a better soc for its range(SD636), so manufacturers opted for it after its release.

        So the 670 is a lower bin of the 710? Sounds about right, just like the 636 is a low bin 660.

                So now we have 636 660 and 710
                Does that mean no more 4xx?

                  SDM660 will be replaced by SDM670, I don't see Qualcomm needlessly having to support one extra chip with a different (older) manufacturing process than the newer (upcoming) ones.

The 670 will push down the 660 to become the new 636, meaning it might show up in 250 dollar devices

                        Cool, by 2025 we might actually see a device that uses it. But it will cost 750 USD. Too many good processers, too few good, cost-effective devices.

                                    What's the point of this? This would become obsolete after the release of SD636's successor; just like what happened to SD630. Or maybe they won't release a successor to SD636? I'm confused..

                                      I think xiaomi gonna win this Race by releasing Redmi note 6/ mi max 4 or at least Mi Note 4 early this year.
