I think we need to coexist peacefully just like when phone OS were not yet created and people were still using their monochrome phones.. there were nothing like this, and people just lived happily with the different phones without any bashing! iOS, android, WP7, bada, symbian, meego, etc are all with their own advantages and disadvantages.. if all are the same, i won't have any choice anymore, and that, in my humble opinion, means taking away my rights as a consumer.. let them come out with their bests, and we can then make our own "personal" choice, and keep it to ourselves.. grow up, fanboys!!!

if i had the iphone 4 i would not buy the 4s well that was just me.
and even i couldnt believe that people were in a que for it on Friday.
Then the news came that there was 1 million pre orders for the phone.
and goodness knows how much they sold on the day. I which the nexus that kind of failure

In other words: it doesn't have the Touchwiz UI in the case of Samsung or the HTC Sense UI in HTCs.

I've owned Palm smartphones, WM6.1 & 6.5 smartphones, Symbian UIQ, Series 5 & series 6 smartphones, Android smartphones & an iphone 4.
All of them are much of a muchness in terms of capabilities. that is to say they're all powerful devices with WM6.1 & 6.5 being the most customisable & tweekable for geeks.
I fail to see what Android offers in terms of power usage that other phones don't.
If you mean that you can root it, then I ask - to what purpose. So that you can install further apps? - hardly power usage. So you can over clock it? - Not really worth it as there's nothing out there in Android that can fully utilise the power or number of cores as yet. Or is it to give you write access to the Core? - risky if you don't know what you're doing & WM6.1 already gave you this sort of functionality out of the box with programs like mySQL etc. If not rooted then it's a pretty closed system.
& a jailbroken iPhone can do all a rooted android phone can. You have access to the same systems. The same ability to rewrite parts of code etc. Although in most cases why bother. As the advert says - there's an app for that. Unlike Android where usually there is a lot of people complaining on the marketplace forums that iPhone has it so why can't we get it. & when you do eventually get it - there's a risk of it being malware.
And the reason proper devs steer clear is because of the stealing of apps & rebadging them & selling them as your own which is rife in the marketplace. Why go to all the trouble to develop something only to have some scally come in, steal it & make money on your hard work? At least with Apple you're guaranteed to make money & they'll make sure your app stays your app. Hence why all the proper apps come to apple first (if they even make it to android...).
It's a common misconception, usually by people who've been sold a kipper in the form of unusable specs, that the iPhone is a dumb phone. It's a powerful smartphone that is capable of running very powerful software. And the killer thing? It runs it smoothly.
I tried several custom ROMs on my android phone - most of them were buggy & caused something else to fail i.e. I could do one thing but the camera or, more commonly, the bluetooth didn't work.
So....
To sum up - I don't consider Android users as technical gurus, basking in the reflected jealousy of other phone users. I see them more as poor unfortunate fools who've been conned out of their hard earned & are now desperate to prove that somehow they knew best all along, as they bleat about meaningless spec sheets.
No - if they were really after power usage - they'd be sticking with WM because, horrible as the interface was, it was a very powerful OS which could be rewritten & programmed just like a PC.
The problem it had was that it didn't appeal to the masses. so only actually sold to techy people. All android did was sell a very simple user interface to the masses & pretended it was all singing & all dancing.

AND ABOUT SAMSUNG ,i have galaxy family phones . HEY GUY U DIDNT CHARG YOUR PHONE WELL . gignerbread healed the charge of battery from 4 hour to 3 hour of charging .
for first time charge if u did put it 8 or 10 hour your phone will be worked for 9 hours of extreme uses ,, beside if u need more battery buy bettry from ebay with external charger .
u put all this awesome andorid feature away and just see the battery !?
