But, there is more convenient tendency in conceptual approach for both target groups and we should never measure Android concept with Apple standards or vice versa. iOS is good without having big screen or powerfull hardware... but Android isn't.

Like I said, there's nothing wrong with Apple's (or Microsoft's for that matter) restrictive concept - but those ar two different worlds, much more different than it looks, and it's pretty clear that on one concept the need for bigger screens and powerfull hardware is very important, and on other is not. Whether this hardware is properly used or not - power users would like that option if it's available, they will sure need it later on.

You have deliberately changed the meaning of the term 'power user' to suit some of the disadvantages of the iOS... The freedom of Android comes at a price... And yeah you guessed it right, it comes at the price of security and reliability which is also important... And with your saying 'which uses every bit of hardware available' I dont really agree with that... Android phones do not even push the dual cores available just because Gingerbread does not support it... Of course that is going to change witg the Icecream Sandwich but you have had to wait for a long time for it since the first dual-core phone came out... So really its a matter of choice and choosing one OS does not make him/her a power user... I personally prefer security, reliability, better and more developers' support for apps...

AnonD-20221, 15 Oct 2011You sure dont know anything about what iOS users use their ... moreNot so long ago the term "power user" in mobile segment was used to describe an user that performs actions that are now considered normal for even the most IT-illiterate people: multimedia, Internet, e-mail, social-networking, games and so on. Blackberry users? They were only BBM service and extensive messaging and email users - of course that now they have more "experience" with iPhone. But, the term poweruser has changed - it stands for people who want even more functionality - customization options, open-source OSes, notification management, full Internet browsing experience (Flash!), file-management systems, which use every bit of hardware available. They allways test the possibilities and use the device in their own way. Apple offers closed systems, completely inadequate for power users, ideal for average Joe's who only wants to work as it tells him and to look cool when doing it. Of course most of operations can be done on iPhone, but when it comes to customization, the more demanding user who don't want to be told how will things look like, it fails to deliver. So, Google's Android is the answer for that and big screen, powerfull processors are more than welcome. It's not about style, it's about actually using something.
I use iPhone 3G (still), it's as shitty as it was three years ago. I worked with Android phones and iPhone 4 as well - it is still more or less the same situation.

It looks like a great phone. It may be a good look at when it does come out when I am looking for a new phone. As for the Android vs iPhone debate, really, everyone has their likes and dislikes and each phone/OS has their strengths and Drawbacks. Otherwise anything you can do on an Android phone, you can do on an iPhone and vice versa. The big thing about iPhone and what Apple emphasizes is software. To Apple, hardware is secondary. Software and user experience is first priority. It is the only reason why Apple sacrifices user customuization of its software to focus on reliability and security. You can customize the Android to many different configuration to oyur hearts content, something that iPhone cannot do but it compromises on its reliability and security. That is the different philosophy between Google and Apple. One is not neccessarily better than the other. It is what/how/when/why the user uses their phone and what/why they like about the phone that matters.

i wonder how soon the next update will come. Gingerbread is not settled in the world here they come with another unsettling OS. They are actually realizing updates much faster than service pack (1,2,3...) of windows, lol. Frankly I can infer one thing from these updates is that the so called Android OS (a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i) is quite unstable. And yet they have not solved the problem of high rate of battery consumption. They cant even last a day, darn it!!!!

terrific phone...but the large 4.7"screen is a problem....it won't be very comfortable...even my 4.3" Galaxy S2 seems a bit large for me.....4" is the perfect size for a smartphone.....

They dont really need to prove they can do complicated tasks like you claim mate... Recently many people working in companies have ditched their Berries for iPhones for work... Also it was found one in four people who were in line waiting for 4S launch were ditching their Blackberries, Nokias or even the Google-powered Droids hoping for a better experience... So no iPhone is not for IT illiterate(yeah your spelling was wrong)... It has got many apps from AppStore and also the security to make it perfect for work... But my comment will seem ridiculous to you as you are under the wrong impression that only Android users are power users and are the only ones who can actually do work...
