Wow, finally budget high end gaming smartphone with sd card slot. I dont mind much with back plastic since most of the time I will use a case, and obviously they did that to lowered the production cost and the price.

But sd 845 + headphone jack + micro sd card + "liquid cooling" will surely sell this phone well, nice combo.

Well done Xiaomi.

Will it shows up in Indonesia though ???

Even lower screen corners are worse than mi 8 lineup. I think the display will not be so good either. Xiaomi has gone mad. Look at the design of the cameras.

Maverick65, 13 Aug 2018No metal back or glass back, no buy. Design looks similar t... moreYou know what looks cheap? A metal/glass phone wrapped in a silicone/plastic/whatever protective case.

Better get a plastic phone that does not need cases instead of getting a "premium feel" phone and covering it up in cheap materials afterwards.

Seems to be a good phone. But the name makes it a difficult option for some like me. I cannot possible say I am using a pocophone. Maybe Xiaomi F1 will work?

Low-end market phone with flagship chipset, there is 3.5 mm jack audio, ext. micro sdcard support, huge 4000mah battery.
It is pretty good actually at least if it come under $400.

What?? and I was told the case is metal or something, why now it's plastic. Hello xiaomi we're in 2018 now, only entry phones use plastic as body material

I am still sceptical that they will go with a plastic build for this, considering they have been using metal build even on their sub-10k devices.
Though I am sure people who are criticising it for the plastic (if it actually do comes in plastic), would forget everything if they price it for for sub-25k

I don't see how it's possible that Xiaomi will price the POCO cheaper than the Mi 8 and expect consumers to buy it when there's the Honor Play at a lower price-point

No metal back or glass back, no buy. Design looks similar to cheap Motorola smartphones, ugly.

Cool phone, 4k amps battery, 'USB C' Port, nice.

Pocophone looks really cheap compared to Mi 8. Just have SD 845 is not enough. When ppl are ready to pay for Mi 8, not sure why to launch this cheap phone?... What is that mystery reason for not launching mi 8 in India even after such demand? is something like Mi is scared of Apple about getting sued? - Disappointed Mi fan:(
