I definitely believe that the Note9 has the best screen ever. But I just have problem with one of the statistics:
Highest Screen Resolution 3K (2960x1440)
Okay, the Sony Premiums may have 4K screens, but doesn't LG G7 have a higher resolution 3K (3120 x 1440)?

As I mentioned never had issues with any galaxy phone screens or know anyone who had. Amoleds build to last year's. They use pentile matrix my galaxy s4 is like new. Maybe some batch of S7 had some faulty screens who knows. TV's are different story. Samsung does not make it cause too expensive to produce and maybe didint see market would catch it or maybe didint have right technology, cause LG nailed with oleds very nicely. I have myself LG oled and have no burn in issues, but I have it less than a year. But would never go back to any LCD TV, oled it just way superior.

samad, 15 Aug 2018But my 1 year old s8 has burn in...You very unlucky or very careless. Could be region problem too. It is oled you should not watch on full blown brightness very extensive period of time, but Idont see why you should do that, you would just hurt your eyes, amoleds are insanely bright, or leave static images for hours. I have S8 from it's launch, and screen as new. It is my third galaxy phone, never had problems with screen.

Lcds get issues too. Backlight problems, image retention, dead spots. It works both ways

Some people get lucky, some not so much. It's why MicroLED is supposed to be the next big screen change. All the good stuff about OLED with the longevity of LCD. That's MicroLED

Vegetaholic, 15 Aug 2018Nothing new, been using Samsung amoled for years and since ... moreI do like the way amoled screens look. The image quality is superb, but to call people complaining about burn-in, trolls is a bit short sighted in my opinion.
I know 3 people with an S7 edge that had to have their display replaced because of purple burn in so bad that the original colours no longer were recognisable. One of them has problems for the second time and Samsung refuses to replace the screen because on the other side of the screen (the side that has no problem at all) there seems to be a crack that we never noticed before and very likely was created when the repair center replaced the previous screen. I'm afraid that my mother will be the 4th person soon with the same problem because the last time I saw her phone, it it already had a hint of purple.
Mine is fine, most likely because I always use a black theme to save energy and to prevent the screen from burning in. Besides that I like the looks of a black theme, especially on Amoled. But of course for a phone in this price class, it is ridiculous that you have to worry about your screen burning in and if it will occur before the warranty is over.
If you are lucky to have this problem within 2 years, Samsung does replace the screen for free. The fact that I know 4 people with the same phone, that have exactly the same problem says to me that either Samsung's quality check sucks, or their technology is flawed. I am afraid it is the last option because if their technology was so great, they would be producing Amoled TV's, but they don't because they can't create reliable screens. A phone is usually ditched after two years, so if the screen breaks down, who cares. A TV however is supposed to last a lot longer.
Nowadays phones are so fast that actually I would like to use the phone longer than 2 years. If my screen will start showing the same flaws, I might opt for a different brand with LCD next time despite the fact that Oled gives a much better picture.

laertes, 15 Aug 2018What were you're logical points again? You didn't bother to... moreAre you daft???? You both kept saying how is misleading and I pointed out they constantly claim out of displays we have tested to cover their backs. If you want proof read the article..... Duh???????????????????????????????
And I said to my knowledge...... Companies have to go to them and pay them for the tests if they want their displays tested and the results advertised. Which is clearly just logical. It's not charity.
And again for yet another time in a row. If you don't even understand how these results could be more than likely true aside from the fact they are then you clearly don't know much any the technology or study tech and results of that many displays to begin with.
And again. If you can prove there better disparate then by all means do it.
And if you are going to talk crap then have the courage to reply to me rather than about me.
