But yes my Omnia HD. And if course it was used to watch many movies and videos. Also the music visualizer.

There is basically no difference if you go from 720p or 4k, sharpness will not change, screens are to small to notice. Only use is VR. Samsung already very well establised in VR, Sony does nothing in VR and putting this 4k screen just for bragging rights. Unfortunately modern cpu and gpu it is not there yet to offer 4k screens for VR on Mobile. Once processing power will in prove a bet Samsung will start to put 4k screens in phones just for crisp VR purposes.

Nothing new, been using Samsung amoled for years and since galaxy S6 it's just looks poor feast and quality for your eyes, there is no match for Samsung amoled, haven't seen any screen who can come close except obviously the ones with Samsung panels like iPhone X. And trolls about burns ins and some other nonsense can shut up now. My galaxy s4 still alive, no burn ins or any screen degradation, as bright and colourful as first day and it is already counting it's 6 birthday. AMOLED is a king!

That makes sense.
What part of they constantly say of displays we have tested, to my knowledge people have to go to them for the testing and released results... Aka its not a random free hobby, and that if anyone knows anything about the related tech it's clearly true don't add up or count for anything??

Even though it's clearly true. It would be nice if they did some others for comparison. Though I also think that's partially dependent on others going to them for it. But I think in that regard they don't want to because they know they will fall short wasting time and money possibly.

To make it clear: I do not doubt that Samsung makes fantastic displays. But it's hard to justify the claim "best display ever" when they only test a small subset of displays.

Why don't test Samsung device after 1000 hrs' use? Why is distortion of edge which is over 5% of screen ignored?
When talking image capturing device, distortion is a key factor but when it comes to phone, nobody cares about display. Is this means that mobile users are just idiots who even don't know what are most important things for display?
Is a display that is unable to replay with correct shape a good display? I think it is the worst. Like a painter who even can't draw a line, can we call him a master?
