    Point is its factually measured that the note 9 display is the best. And it's considerable better than the Sony one on many levels... As nice as the Sony one is. And that upsets you. And I think you know the truth. You just will never admit it under any circumstances.

    And again. I dare you to show us any proof of otherwise.

      So DisplayMate is actually Samsungs mobile service (for years now).

      Its ridiculous that any serious tech site even use this as any reference to mobile displays quality, except Samsungs marketing/promotional services only...

      So the banner is quite misleading as it should say:

      "Best Display ever...in a Samsung mobile device."
      "About any other we cant say, as we dont test any other"

      But it doesnt say that, and thats why factualy its just circumstantial marketing site.

        Funny GSMARENA's own bench mark test seem to differ. Quote "The Galaxy S9+ with its Snapdragon 845 was able to get the best frame rates out of the graphic-focused GFX Bench tests."...

            [deleted post]They do have great displays, but the accurate color thing has been a lie for a long time. That's a matter of calibration not display type. Though if you account for blacks and contrast then technically amoled is overall more accurate even if colors are equal on both.

                        they dont cost that much . NEC and Eizo make perfect color Monitors with 4K , and Dull color gamut and ten billions colors for just around $2000 .

                            I hope samsung will create super amoled that will not have shadow/burning effect.

                              i don't even care about display mate. samsung's displays have always been great imo. never had any burn in issues on any of the note devices i have owned.

                                So what if that phone has the best display ever? LOLs! What important is your phone has a decent display. Even if the phone you own has the best ever display, it's just a phone.

                                      It is only the best when new!
                                      After 1 year of intensive use, Galaxy Note 8 and Note 5 showed horrible white balance shift from white to heavy warm or from white to heavy red tint. Moreover , keyboard shadows are burned in badly (if you are texting alot) , on both Note 8 and note 5. Both phones brightness has been reduced as well after 1 year of use.

                                      Conclusion. Yes, Note 9 display is the best but remember that it might have a short life in being the best unless it has been improved alot comparing to note 8s display.
