Seems like a great phone but it's interesting that it's carrying a SnapDragon chipset. Huawei usually just puts Kirin ones but this means this phone won't get GPU Turbo, and the update cycle might be a bit problematic.

I thought they have a 6/128 GB set up for the war in the mid-range segment

The source (Tech Android ) said: "There is a 1.8GHz octa-core Kirin processor which is paired with 4GB RAM. "
This article told us Snapdragon processor. Which one is right?

Maybe i have to sell.my mi max 3 then, love big phones.
But still have my asus zenfone 3 ultra in reserve, it still rocks with its specs after more then 2 year.
Wake Asus make me a zenfone 6 ultra.

But at least they should have a streamlined naming scheme. The X series used to have mid sized screen, then it should continue to have mid sized screen for future variants as well.

Nowadays 6 inch is becoming more and more common, but in reality and side by side it feels too small for me. I want anything between 6 inch and 6.5 inch on 19:9 format, but definitely not more

Huawei phone screen are completely solve, over 7 inch, keep up huawei. I feel like xiaomi phone cannot make it with 7 inch and above. So foldable phones are even bigger, 10 inches!

Not only the battery is smaller, but it also has a notch and probably lacks 3.5mm jack. I'f pick the Mi max over it even if the Mi max was more expensive than the Honor.

For that big @ss screen size, i doubt they naming it as Honor 8x. Maybe its a new naming Honor phone.

Free the specs the phone size is 177.57 x 86.24 mm or 6.9909 x 3.395 inches

The 7.12 inch (diagonal) screen using maths.... 6.4346 x 3.0479 inches

I appreciate people like phablets but a display screen size over 6 inches or half the length of a 12 inch ruler begs the question are they going to stop, phones now over 200g is a consequence
