ARM unveils roadmap: Cortex-A76 to tackle Intel, Deimos and Hercules cores incoming

The A76 is expected to offer Core i5 7300U performance at 1/3 of the power. Deimos and Hercules will be even faster.

    Intel will still reign Supreme in true desktop class performance, mobile will surpass the mobile Intel chips, but only the low end on Intel chips, my i7 7700 will never be beaten by a arm processor even in 5 years

      Impress. Glad someone is challenging Intel dominance other than AMD

          q8peace, 16 Aug 2018no benefits if its not going to run x86-64 / no one need it... more64-bit processing has been on with Snapdragon and other for the longest.
          There appear to be some issues with the Android platform though. It needs to support more formats and wider functions.

            I am excited toward Deimos and Hercules. These are the cores I need RIGHT NOW.
