I don't like Huawei especially because their phones are overpriced, but... this is nice surprise!
With this approach, they could win the market.
And common..... MOVE that notch for good!

Amazing offer by Huawei, nevertheless I had to pass it and go for the less powerful Mi A2.
Locked bootloader without any way to unlock, and iOS-esque EMUI instead of Android One, were the deciding factors. Will never (EVER) purchase a phone that limits my freedom of choosing another ROM.

I believe this is one of the greatest benefits of making in house chipsets, being able to sell (dispose) flagship chipets at cheaper price when a new one is about to be made.
