      I for one dont care where the company is located. Fact remains that everything is made in China anyways by Chinese workers and fact remains that Nokia is over priced too. Black version of 7 plus in my country prices start from 357 euro and white version 345 euro. There flagship nokia 8 sirocco price starts from 731 euro what is crazy expensive for SD835 device when i can get Xiaomi Mi 8 with SD845 for 499 and other like oneplus 6 and so on

        Great phone, popular too. Good software updates from HMD, they deliver what they promise.

          They do need it or something like it though, the 8 is getting old, and the 8 sirocco doesn't cut it in the flagship segment.

          HMD are well represented in the lower to mid range areas, in fact they might have the best sub £400 device on the market in the 7 Plus, arguably.

          But they need a new flagship to take them into 2019......

It's HQ is literally in front of the Nokia HQ, its employees are literally former Nokia employees. Its leaders are literally former Nokia leaders. And they have released a series of decent smartphones, mine a Nokia 8, included.
