i dont see any similar between iphone4 and samsung galaxy s2.. just because both got similar design similar color but still their have diff tech, iphone with cool os and samsung with a hot screen and camera.
no need to get angry and shout to apple or samsung.. you are not getting the profit.. they do.. so as a user make a right choice either u love apple or samsung or you can buy both cause both have diff function...

I am not sure what Apple is expecting others after they launched iPhone later it became successful? I am not sure if developing OS by looking at iPhone OS by reverse engineering is as simple as that? Then everyone must have one OS like Android or device that is exceptional like SGS array! Either Apple supporters undermine the complex work involved in creating an OS or they don't want to understand.
World will have full of inspiration and sometimes it may look like a copy but it is not that simple, except in theory.

Now the iPhone & the iPad are the biggest source of revenue for apple anything that threaten that source of cash must be neutralize by any means possible.

As do movies dating back to the 60's. It just so happens that in the last 5 years it has actually become feasible to actually make use of the form factor. To my knowledge there wasn't ever any law suits between motorola and samsung when they were both producing flip phones even tho motorola "pioneered" that "design" because it's a design that makes sense. Same can be said for cars (mercedes never sued ford for creating a 2-door car! Or how about televisions? Do you see or hear about Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, Panasonic, Pioneer, Mitsubishi etc etc suing each other because their TV's all look damn near identical? NO. It's competition. And I mean honestly isn't the TV thing a bigger deal? A TV is a TV. They don't have unique user interfaces. They display images. That's it. There is nothing more or less that they can do.
Apple in this case is little more than a bully trying to control the market and tell people what they want. IMO Apple is the best MARKETING company in the world. They do not have, nor have they ever had, the best anything. However, that is not to say their devices are bad. I would say on the whole their stuff is usually very good. But their marketing is #1, they create hype and their owners are very much influenced by the Kool-Aid being served up. iOS5 seems in many ways to be much more of a clone of Android than ever before. Of course I'm sure Applephilies believe that Apple created things like the Task bar, or iMessage and didn't just rip those things off.

I bought and Iphone for $601.30 and a Galaxy SII for $601.30.
Uhh.....
Which one is cheap???
A sarcastic comment:
The galaxy SII looks exactly like the iphone4.
Both looks rectangle.
Both has got a display.
Both has got buttons.
Both has got icons.
Both has got headphone jack.
Both can be connected to the computer via cable.
Both can make calls.
Both can access the internet on 3G and wifi.
And so many more similarities.
I wonder why apple hasn't sued samsung yet for making a photocopy of the iphone4.

This time around Apple has been a real innovator. They have finally solved the antennagate issue this time by using a new dual antenna design. Another new innovation from Apple. I hope they have already patented it.
Oh wait a second....
Oh it was already invented and innovated by someone else already for which, samsung owns the licenses.
Guess this time Apple can sue Samsung for patenting before them.

A day will come when Apple will say, "We are the ones who invented the shape rectangle and cuboid. We are the ones who in fact even invented the LCD. We even invented the mobile phone itself. And the the glass, and the metal and so on and so forth."
In the end Apple will patent the fruit apple and sue the farmers for producing apples.
A really Great innovative company.
A company that has re-invented many new innovations in the last decade.
I congratulate them with all my heart.
In this modern 21st century society, I feel like the past times has returned, where you would attack a kingdom, conquer it and call it yours.

The GUI was invented, for goodness sakes, in Xerox' Research Center. I worked there shortly afterward for a spell. We marveled at the Altos' as well as the Star's interface. How intuitive it was. And NO, it WASN'T incomplete. One could after a short initiation period, run an office with it. THAT was the point of a GUI!!!! apple called Xerox employees at Parc "copyheads, they ( Xerox Parc) didn't know what they had". So ya STEAL from from them?
NOW apple has been caught STEALING again FROM SAMSUNG!!!! Network IP. JUST 2 weeks ago!! Samsung I WISH your attys would wise up and get some FIRE in the BELLY!! Get your fellow Android Mfr's together,and plot apple's retreat.YOUR terms!!

Patents are good to a certain extent, bat Apple takes it WAY to far. They sue Samsung because its similar to the shape of another device? really. Is Samsung going to make a fortune off of something that has a curved back, like the ipad. Ridiculous. Samsung did take some features from apple. like folders and stuff but apple should be sueing that. not the shape of a device. samsing has got to learn that u cant copy other peoples software. even though they are not being sued for that. LG has the EXACT same keyboard as apple. WTF

Some people who can't afford original luxury bags like LV settle for copies from hong-kong/china or korea.
Samsung fans are so trying hard and hell bent to defend their camp but no matter how they try to justtify their cheapness...they'll always be A SECOND-RATE TRYING HARD COPYCAT!

makes absolutely no sense.. who cares how it designed.. did the designers and developers live in a bubble and never see another phone.. Otherwise there is no way to prove previouisly seeing another phone or OS infulenced their design.. and even if it didnt if someone else came up with it first and they did the same thing you are still in violation of their patent.
