Samsung is a disgusting company that was born out of reverse engineering. Most people don't care though as it makes similar products with a lower price tag. But it's just straight unethical to buy their stuff. By the way, they employed a few fanboys to support them in mobile blogs. Just ignore them.

patents are not bullshit!, how will u feel if u spend billions of dollars into research of a new technology and then someone just comes making soo much profit out of your hard work with out investing a dime! so i perfectly understand apple!

The fact is Samsung has been making phones that were selling way before Apple made Iphone. The evolution of Cellphones were heading towards touchscreens. The smart thing that Apple did, was use the success of Ipod to establish a good touchscreen phone. Now all handsets manufacturers followed suit, not just Samsung. In fact in the US, Apple has sued HTC as well, not only Samsung. The reason why Apple is suing HTC and Samsung is because those are their biggest competition from Android. Apple are just worried about the success of Android and they are using patents to win the war. Look at Plasm TV's, LCD TV's and LED TV's from Sony, Samsung, LG, HiSense etc. They all look alike, So why is there no suing going on in that space. Samsung is actually a leader in making good TV's.

I think most of the people over here have very short memories. What made Samsung a popular brand in the first place? It's between year 2008-2010 when Samsung used to release a phone every week which used to look exactly like an iPhone. By looking exactly like iPhone I mean iOS icons, the design of the keyboard and the external design. I remember what I thought when I first bought a Samsung touch screen device...."wow I'm getting an iPhone and that also for half of half the price of an iPhone!"
You see the main reason why Samsung touchscreens were sold so much in early days is because people wanted an iPhone at a much lesser price. Samsung Bada still retains the design of iOS UI and people who buy Samsung Wave usually say, "wow we're having an iPhone!"
You don't see Apple is suing Blackberry or Nokia or Droids from any other brand but why always Samsung? Samsung is the reason why Apple lost a large amount of deserved profit. When a chinese company makes a copy of iPhone, we look at them with disgust and say "why do chinese people always copy?" but when a big, and well reputed company like Samsung does it, there are always fanboys to support them.

As you know, Apple is known for beautiful designs, and while this is debatable, I personally find the front view of the Galaxy Nexus to look very outdated, given the huge bezel and space on top and below the screen.
The Motorola Razr on the other hand, is a seriously hot design with nice material choices. Put the Galaxy Nexus and Droid Razr side by side in the compare view, and check it out.

that Samsung has no design department is a know fact... it has a copy department which copies from everyone (Apple)... it is known to borrow OSs (Android and Symbian) and put them in their monsters (excellent hardware and not focus on Bada... also that Apple is known to market a known feature in a way that they were the 1st is also know... fight kids, fight!!!
i ll go with Nokia becuase they have storng phones with excellent battery life!!!

First off Samsung did not infringe on any of Apple's patents. If you had done your researching you would know this.
First the Galaxy S2. Apple tried to take Samsung to court of it being an Iphone copy. They had a claim of 4-6 infringements....Guess what. Every single last one failed! The only thing that held water was the gallery app which is Google not Samsung. Yet after loosing Apple is repeatedly on it again and again.
Second. Where in the hell did Samsung admit to infringing?
Third. There is no copy in the tablets either. Apple won the first case solely based on that they were slender with round edges. This was on top of using photo shopped evidence with no legal consequence. They look different, feel different, are different sizes and shapes, have different aspect ratios, different hardware, os, and ui. Then Apple won again on the same principle. It was not until their second or third win where they were possibly being awarded infringements.
Fourth. Apple did not invent the look of the Iphone. Lg and Samsung both had phones with that design first. The Galaxy phones do not look like the Iphone and for sure were not made to. Even if they did look that similar it would still be Apple's copy in the end.
Fifth. The Galaxy S rocks Iphone's world because Apple does not put the effort and technology in it that they could, and because it just rocks the phone world in general. It is not because Samsung only made it to be better then the Iphone, not to say Iphone competition never has anything to do with it. And had it been made to compete with Iphone it's not even fair to Apple or Samsung to say it was for the 3GS. Their Omnia HD(first phone capable of HD playback, and or recording, Thanks to Samsung) Already beat 3GS out. The Galaxy S rocks because Samsung is EXTREMELY inventive and innovative. They keep bringing back top of the line with fresh technology, EPIC hardware, and out of this world features.
