Xdadevet, 22 Aug 2018Yeah, aside from the $300 price, the SD845, the 6-8GB RAM, ... moreAll the time some dude will come up and complain it could be cheaper? Typical beggars mentality. Wants to get top specs for unreal prices.

Amazing price, while Samsung and Apple raising prices, not sure it is very smart to buy smartphone for thousands of dollars anymore.

Anonymous, 26 Aug 2018Or look at the 920, 1020, 730. Most Lumia devices were gorgeous.yes, that's what I meant. Put some work in design, simply assembling specs number not cool. All the devices you mentioned were polycarbonate ones, but boy they looked and felt awesome. Really miss Lumia and Windows, want to buy a new phone, wished the eco-system was still present.

Sumit, 24 Aug 2018Does PocoF1 is compitable with Apple Airpods ?It's an android device, so yes it will be compatible. You just can't utilize the touch control features.

Whackcar, 22 Aug 2018Here are 2 big reasons why this phone is not a good buy. ... morePolycarbonate puts it in the top tier for me, prefer it to glass. My 5yr old 920 is still in fine shape. The screen is poor, and the camera quality id not great, but the rest of the specs are superb. And the price is astonishing.

Wow good job xiaomi, this phone looks like the spiritual successor of the xiaomi Mi 4c. But I'm not sure if it is a wise choice to switch from a oneplus 3 to the cheapest version.

With such a configuration, they are luring customers with a 15K budget to overshoot. Trust me many users looking to buy a phone in 10-15K range, will end up buying this one. Anyways, I hope they put a good display on board and people don't fall into the trap of powerful specs. For most users, Snapdragon 625 is still a pretty relevant chip. Only power users require such config.

MI8 has glass back and it is going to cost 8k more (at least based on Chinese pricing). So if you want best performing phone for around 20K and you play a lot of games like PubG and you don't care about the looks this is the perfect phone for you. I think this one is decently priced phone. If you want premium finish may be wait for mi 8 or get zenfone 5z by paying 9k extra,

thats insane pricing for the base variant... hope it dooest suffer from hardware issues . it would be best if it ships with stock android rather than miui... which i personally hate

Performance and usability is utmost. And this phone is tops on performance. Since the bootloader is unlocked this should get a plethora of custom roms to choose from which is awesome. Only wish it had AMMOLED screen but that would have put it directly in competition to Mi8

But for me, the looks and display are utmost. I loved HTC but now that they are out, let's see. Probably choose Honor Play or Xperia XA3 if it launches in India. I have a Note 5 Pro at home and the auto brightness is really a bummer along with image retention. Trust me, these small things irritate a lot once you bought the device. Initially one ignores them like I did for the sake of better camera and specs.

Some people do prefer AMOLED screen, metal/glass build, low light capable camera. So more expensive phone will not lose their customer base, at least not by much.

I SWEAR the way the Xiaomi company is going they will soon take over the smart phone industry as soon as possible. They do great phones and charge very low in fact lowest for them. Their phones were not coming out to the world. I pleaded with them several times to bring their phones to the world and the would make it. Now the have taken over the huge Indian market and pushing through in the European market as well. Now Africa too is getting their SHARE. I am loving this company. Good work done.

You should go with the Samsung A6+. Samsung made it for folks like you who need premium build but happy with otherwise crappy specs. Please go for the a6+ with premium build
