I have seen the youtube videos on the device. Don't mind, but it looks cheap. Not against plastic, just don't see it fitting with top-line specs. If the phone looks cheap, it should be cheap and not above 12K rupees. Want to make a plastic back phone, take a look at Lumia 650. This one looks really poor. Do remember, Xiaomi puts the worst display in their smartphone. I am really pissed on purchasing the Note 5 Pro. The image retention and brightness up and down issue is sore.

leledumbo, 22 Aug 2018No, that's why Pocophone is marketed as a different brand. ... moreI doubt anyone would spend more if there is a cheap option like this pocophone.

The camera may be the weak point, but this is Definitely going to eat into the markwt share of all gaming smartphones. Big Time.

                      Xiaomi seriously??? 😱😱

I just want to share my thoughts bout this phone, i ever owned a xiaomi mi 5 back at April 2016, and it cost me around usd 308 for the lowest spec 3gb ram 32gb storage
And then we look at this poco, this one the lowest spec cost usd 300, this thing is neutralizing all inflation price back to 2 years ago, same price for the lowest spec, this is pretty awesome calculation from xiaomi engineer and designer, count it yourself, don't complain too much about this that and any other bs trash talk

For around $300.00... Snapdragon 845, 6GB RAM, 64GB Storage, Decent cameras, 4000 mAh battery, USB C, Headphone Jack, Stereo Speakers, SD Card Support, FM Radio, Bluetooth 5, Dual band WiFi, Fast Charging, Fingerprint Scanner.
Well done Xiaomi... brilliant, brilliant job.

Anyway, 6.9" and 6.1" is 0.8" difference and polycarbonate is waaay cheaper than metal (so much cheaper that the difference is enough to afford infrared sensor and lighting).

Luxor, 22 Aug 2018Not bad. Doesnt this mean Xiaomi need to lower their Mi 8 S... moreNo, that's why Pocophone is marketed as a different brand. Mi 8 SE has its own market segment (premium looking upper midrange with beautiful display), while Poco F1 is solely sold for its performance, the hell with look, the hell with build, the hell with AMOLED, but heaven with 3.5mm jack and microSD slot.

Anonymous, 22 Aug 2018Why can't all flagships cost like this?Because they want ot copy apple in everything including the price.

So how does this really differentiate from the Xiaomi Mi Max 3? Same big screen, stereo speakers, and a much better processor for the same price? The only difference is a smaller battery. It seems like they're cutting into their existing product line with this phone.

That's a deal breaker, I was seriously con... moreAnd there we have that person who found the one and only issue with this device and directly declared it a „dealbreaker“. But I still remember the great times of OnePlus, and I remember that the OnePlus 2 had no NFC as well, and I remember it sold like hot cakes anyway because it was dirt cheap for what it offered, like the F1.
Xiaomi should have called this the flagship killer killer. Or OnePlus 6 Killer or something because OnePlus today is like those big established brands wanting big money for few phone (*cough* that camera and no IP rating in a € 520 phone *cough* Galaxy S9 is cheaper and better *cough*)

And BTW that is where OnePlus got the hype from: A top end flagship for € 300, nowadays it‘s more like € 520 and nothing special anymore.
