As an iPhone guy (I own the 8) I find it ridiculous that they’ll use the A10 processor in the next SE, while the current SE has A9 and was released in Spring 2016.

And I might even stick with it longer if iOS 12 works well on the iPhone 6. I am just willing to pay 700 dollars (which turns out to be like 700 euro or even more in Europe) for a so called cheaper iPhone with not even the latest chip... I was looking forward to the LCD variant to stick with it for perhaps 4 years with iOS updates.

Will me interesting to see how this goes against the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 at $300.00 (with Snapdragon 845, 6GB RAM, 64GB Storage, Decent cameras, 4000 mAh battery, USB C, Headphone Jack, Stereo Speakers, SD Card Support, FM Radio, Bluetooth 5, Dual band WiFi, Fast Charging, Fingerprint Scanner).

First the camera there are not android low end who can compare with your iPhone 6.
Second the software and fluidity, android can't just compare with iOS.
I've changed my iPhone 6 to a Galaxy S7. I've had the choice between the S7 or an iPhone 7...and i regret it soooo baddd. :'(

See, as I've told a few weeks ago the 6.1" is NOT the mainstream iPhone for 2018, since it's internals are not adequate to qualify the phone as a flagship. I still believe it would carry the A11 Bionic instead of A10 Fusion with the former being slightly underclocked. Saying so, the iPhone SE Plus might be equally fast to iPhone 8 series.

a 500$ for a new iphone 7 which isn't worth a piece as it is going to be 2 years old by the time so called iphone se 2 releases. cm'on a 200$ for a notch?! or face id which is nuts in the dark but still i know there are people out there even after knowing about this disaster stunt which apple's going pull, they're gonna buy and other people who finds hard to buy the outdated processor might even break the bank to afford the top model of course it is apple, popular for no sensible reason.

I don't know why Apple likes to put the camera at the corner of the phone. It is just waiting to be smudged.

I love Apple d... moreI was looking forward tot he 6.1 inch LCD iPhone as successor to my iPhone 6, but indeed for that price and an A10 chip that's not gonna happen. Apparently it's too much to put the newest chipset in the LCD variant, so this Phone is not going to be the successor of the iPhone 6 for me. I am probably going for a MUCH cheaper Nokia or Huawei now, though Nokia's ship with Android One so I prefer that.
