h, 23 Aug 2018how does it differs from the SD845?worth the upgrade?Kryo 4XX series. It'll have around 3.2k Single core and 11k Multi. An even beastier GPU, (my guess the Adreno 645) much better PMU unit (Power Management unit) and much more. For me, yes, I'd jump on SD855 (?)

so, no matter how same the battery capacity is, this chipset will do it best so that u feel like the battery is huge.

One of the chinese brand will rush to be first to release this. Im more worried about battery life tbh.

Anonymous, 22 Aug 2018Yet battery life will be the same it has been for the last ... moreScreen size got bigger, resolution got bigger, performance increased, gpu performance increased and not only that, but phones got thinner. Yet battery life did not got worse.

Anonymous, 22 Aug 2018Yet battery life will be the same it has been for the last ... moreYes and (more likely) no. I for one have a OnePlus 6 with SD845 and I am amazed what I can get from the relatively small 3300 mAh battery: 2+ days of use, sometimes 3. So the smaller manufacturing process does pay off in terms of battery life.

But the manufacturers also have to add larger batteries and optimize the software. Hopefully we will start seeing 4000+ mAh batteries in flagships next year, the Huawei P20 Pro, Note 9 and Pocophone F1 already started the trend.

2019? So does that mean Razer lied about having that chipset on their upcoming flagship that's coming out in December? Or it could mean that they'll have to push back their phones until 2019...

It will be called Snapdragon 865 not 855. They will bump the number in order to keep alone the SD850 for tablet/laptop and use 865 for mobile.
