Im pretty sure that people dont care about notches - its not a feature, its not useful, nor does it hinder using a phone. If people say they want a notch it's because of looks/fashion, nothing else.

The notch is awful, and it's killing design of many brands.
Because they somehow decide to follow some trend instead of creating their own thing.
Just look at Motorola. Their P30 is right that.

- Normal screen and bezels, though the more screen that can accomodate this design, the better. Maybe 5.7" phone?
- 3+GB RAM, 16+ w/ Msd or 64+ w/o
- 1080p+
- Headphone jack
- USB Type C
- NFC/Qi Wireless
- Decent-Great Camera
- 3000+mah battery.
I mean, all said and done, it's not that hard. Phones have gotten close for half the premium price, so I'd think it's well within doing.

from the beginning i have no issue with notch as long as it goes ri8 with the ui...the things i care about is performance and camera quality,and notch screen doesn't really effect much on company sells,.........from my point of view.

Obviously a biased survey in my opinion. The only reason I could see this being true is people who don't want to fork out 1000 dollars for the iPhone x to get a phone that has the style which similar, you're just lying to yourself if that's the case

Perhaps some of them want to feel like the are sporting an iPhone.
They don't know just how much of a downgrade an iPhone is, compared to what they already have.

I participated in that survey and I DID NOT vote for notch. I think those who have already purchased their notched chinese phones are now saying notch just so that they don't look foolish. It's just sad.

I am not sure about the love of notch but most of the Android mid-ranges having notches pushed to the throat by the OEM. Blame it on the love for notch. There may be absence of hate for notches construed as love! It's afterall a survey

All efforts are into making the screen bigger and bigger.... But what about comfort level of using your phone... They wouldn't ask if you like very big screen....sure , young generation loves big screen...but what about gen x ? Any survey ? Or just they're going to dump on us ?

Most of the Indian markets is covered up under Rs. 15,000 price bracket, doesn't matter notch or not, but specs should be good.
