    sadh, 25 Aug 2018My j5 prime only got 1 update from 6 to 7. 8 probably will... moreBe glad that Samsung is planning to give two major OS upgrades to J5 Prime. Usually J series get one major OS upgrade only.

      I have to ask, why are updates considered so important? I get it if it was for iOS, but on Android, it seems more like a thing for stock Android fans to test out

        Broken promises, 25 Aug 2018Software updates are better late than never like with A3 20... moreThey have not released Oreo to all devices just yet, their schedule stretches until Q1 2019. Just be patient. It's not like you are dying because of it.

          My j5 prime only got 1 update from 6 to 7.
          8 probably will arrive sometime when Android hits version 10

            Software updates are better late than never like with A3 2016 Samsung!

            I Hope Gsmarena would make a list of phones that have been updated to android oreo and compare it with the promised list of devices that were supposed to get the update. Samsung has left many devices without update to oreo after they announced the list of devices that would get oreo eventually. Never buying Samsung again.
