I previously owned pureview 808 & Lumia 1020.
NOKIA PUREVIEW 808 IS BEST CAMERA PHONE TILL TODAY.
if hmd bring it back with android and some design change with 1 inch sensor....the lost glory of nokia might be back.
I will definitely buy one by any price

It would be wise to live up to the expectations that go with that trademark. Once they go PureView, I hope it's a big camera sensored (at least 1.1/7) phone with extensive manual controls. Putting the PureView tag on a 1 2.55 sensored phone seems like a recipe for underwhelming IQ results. Just my opinion.

Lumia 920, 930, 1520, 830 are others with PureView.
Lumia 1520 had top specs which still is usable as a flagship. Quality of its picture in fairly low light are excellent.
Lumia 920 in good lighting perform well even today.
Nokia must be careful in order to use the brand in proper situation, not just playing with name and using for example quad bayer thing to show numbers.

If HMD wants their Nokia 9 to be the best Camera if 2018 or 2019, it has to come up with Zeiss optic, Pureview, lowest aperature, high sensors, lots of features in the camera app and... Software has to be improve significantly and should be good so that photos and videos comes out better.

Yet another fake from Foxconn. All top PureView developers are in other companies. How "good" hmd in sofftware we could see by it's slowest and dumb camera app.

I own a nokia n8 , 808 p.v . N trust me if 808 could b made innovative then m selling my Nikon d3300.....808 was excellent camera centric phone..I won't mind paying 50 k fr it anyday

I don't feel any nostalgia on their smartphones. I don't think any of their smartphone carry any nostalgia factor yet. Their designs are not even resemblance their old N9/Lumia lineup. Well... Except for their trait on durability, which is proven many times by durability tester on youtube.
