At the end of the day, Face ID is more secure than any Android's face unlcoking implementation. I just don't like Android OEMs is heading, they are better than this. I bet you Apple will introduce the new colors on the newer iPhones next week. I bet you these Android companies will follow the bandwagon like always...

Shellyman Infinity, 03 Sep 2018Did I ever said Apple designs was game changing innovation?... moreI'm not a fanboy. in the last 5 years, I've used so many different phones and different Laptops, tablets and more. I don't give a shit about a special brand since it is not Apple. Don't get me wrong I owned iPhone 6 and I was Happy until my iPhone 5 but slowly Apple did become more horrible than what it was before. Even cheaper hardware with lower quality than before. more defective parts on so many devices and more horrible customer service than before at least in EU. I don't bait anyone or any Brand. And NO Apple does not use everything on purpose, only a stupid person would say removing Headphone jack was for our own good and did add any new feature or CPU throttling is for our good or removing all ports in new Mackbooks is for our good or it is innovation. and as you see the use of the Notch is exactly the same in all phones. other phones don't include a blank notch on their phones, they include it for the camera and use of something useful as Apple and all others did. For your information as so many YouTubers and so many Tech-guys did prove, FaceID is not that secure as Apple and their fanboys like you think.

Yikes, the fanboyism in your statements is starting to show. It’s funny how you can’t even admit that these Android companies is following what is doing. Which I hate btw! At least Apple has a purpose to put a notch there because of Face ID, sure android started it first but Apple uses 3D depth which is more secure. I own both operating systems, and I’m happily enjoying both. 2018 has been disappointing year for phone designs because they all look alike smh!

You're delu... moreHaha, Bruh as i said Apple is just stealing from others, change the name of the stolen innovation and use it somewhere else and you kids thinks it is an awesome game changing innovation. for example 3D Touch is stolen Huawei innovation, Huawei didn't use it in their devices cause they realized it is an useless, expnesive think, but Apple stole it and used for a force touch and name it 3D touch, or face detection and named it Face ID, or Retina display and all others. As i said Huawei did plan and for horizontal notch way earlier than Apple and there's no need to call it Apple's notch when it is a stolen stuff.

Dr. Chillo, 31 Aug 2018Exactly, my point is stop calling it Copy from Apple, only ... moreTo be fair, the notch was kinda Apple's thing, because, and I quote, they did it right. I suppose it is because Apple "copies" from Android that it grinds our gears when vice versa happens. honestly? We should just not care

Walter C. Dornez, 29 Aug 2018Dude, come on. Every company copies from each other, not to... moreExactly, my point is stop calling it Copy from Apple, only because Apple does steal it first or implement it first, it doesn't mean it is their innovation and others are coppying Apple.

Every company copies from each other, not to mention a lot of what you said was copying was just implementing features that are so standard now that it would be stupid not to implement them

Dr. Chillo, 28 Aug 2018As you said Essential Phone, so it means if others did copy... moreYes, The Essential phone did started the notch trend, what phone looked like the Essential phone though? Yeah, it's pretty rare... But instead these companies took inspiration of the Apple's notch... Which is sad!

You're delusional and sure is under denial. What phone looked like the iPhone X before it came out? I'll wait, but please... I'm sure you will come up with some alternative facts to make yourself look better. Calling me educate, bro the inspiration of Apple is right front of your eyes.

Shellyman Infinity, 27 Aug 2018There is a copy of the Apple notch.... Before the iPhone X ... moreSo as i said, Apple did copy mobile phone from motorola, smartphone from Blackberry and HTC, figerprint scanner from Motorola, dual camera from HTC, AMOLED from samsung, Face detector from Samsung and more and more.
Come on kid grow up. Think. Educate yourself. Get out of your iBubble.

Shellyman Infinity, 27 Aug 2018There is a copy of the Apple notch.... Before the iPhone X ... moreAs you said Essential Phone, so it means if others did copy notch, they did it from PH-1, not from Apple. And explination of why it happned after iPhoneX or people think like this is, because Apple always steals innovations of other companies at first, and because Apple is so popular between of some NOT SMART people, it seems like Apple was the first in that case. And the next reason is the timing, Huawei phones were planned to have notch way before Apple could even think about any change in their phones like all other handsets, as we see 4 years and exactly the same design, it is only 4 variants of iPhones at all when we talk about design, changes and innovation.
So Apple just released it's phone before Huawei, but never you can't say Apple was the first or others copy Apple's notch.

Pakalini, 27 Aug 2018Apple boi WTF dude I'm maybe an iHater but not an iSheep. Apple is most horrible Company on this planet. Don't judge people like this dude.

why do anyone wanna complain about apple's iPhone X notch.
It is the widest and ugliest I've ever seen.
but after this it is the best seller of apple this time..

Selling point notch only? Where is man behind G2?
No idea? Make it removeable battery & 3.5"jack

I had my heart set on the Note 9 after looking at it in an AT&T store, but then I looked at the V35 with my headphones plugged in, and I was again reminded of the awesome quad DAC. Now I look at this, and I'm even more confused. I did like the V35 when I saw it on display. LG seems to have fixed some of my annoyances on the aesthetics side. I like how the folder icons have nine apps visible in them now. I like how the in call screen is purple now instead of Kermit green. DTS X surround adds extra oomph with the DAC toggled on. Maybe I could deal with the V35 and the stock launcher this time around.

Then again, although LG added options for changing up the AOD, LG's theme selection is still terrible. Smart World is still no where near as comprehensive as Samsung's theme store. And the Note 9 looks like an awesome device, especially with that 4,000 mAh battery now. Early adopters are reporting fantastic battery life on it. But I also had phenomenal battery life with the V30's 3,300 mAh battery.

So assuming the V35-V40's battery life is similar to what I achieved on the V30, the question is, do I go for LG's unparalleled quad DAC, or features out the ass with the Samsung? One thing in LG's favor is that by the time I get ready to buy next spring, both the V35 and V40 will be much cheaper than the Note 9.
