I constantly say that at some point in time today's smartphones will look similar as it's a screen and housing. It's not like the candy-bar phones like yesteryear where you could greatly customise them. Look at Nokia 3310, E71, N95, 3650, 7260, 7250i, 8810, 7600, Crystal Prism 7900 and N-Gage and there are a lot more Nokias that had unique designs and form factors.
The iPhone X wasn't the first phone with a notch...Sharp Aquos S2 was the first phone with a notch then Essential right after. Apple is the biggest copycat in the world and then they try to trick you into believing they invented the things they copy.
Last but not least there's NOT mich you can't do much with a touch screen phone but some of them are blatant copies like Motorola P30 ripping off Huawei P20 Pro. Most Samsung and Huawei smartphones I come across have an original look to them. However, you will remember that the Huawei P20 Pro was the first phone with a triple camera and the other manufacturers will follow suit in the near future (including Samsung). Let's see how many phones adapt to the triple camera trend that Huawei started. I'm looking out for them next year and then you will remember this post.

Most Android manufacturers *right now* sell devices with 2 different connectors (micro USB & USB-C depending on handset's price).

When you say phones like "Huawei p" are killing Samsung sales are you talking models like the Huawei P Smart or phones like Huawei P9, Huawei P10 and Huawei P20? Smartphones like the Huawei P Smart are midrange phones while the flagship P series speak for themselves...and they aren't cheap. The Huawei P9 Plus which is a little over two years old is almost US$500 at the moment which surely isn't cheap. Many people don't know this but the 'P' from the flagship series means Platinum whereas the 'p' in the Huawei P Smart has no known meaning. As GSMArena said, Huawei knows that the P sells so they used it in the midrange P Smart as a marketing strategy to attract sales.

I will never buy a Samsung again. My S8 is sent in service due to not working sensors problem(very common to S8). The are also common issues like bootlooping, moisture problem, camera focus blockage... which all are design problems not only rare appeared issues.
this speaks a lot about Samsung quality...
I bought an expensive phone(S8) which get broken after less that one year...

S9 was only a S8 with add-ons.
S10 will come with real new features, in my opinion. Let's hope for the best.

Since S8 all known and trusted insiders said it will be released with an in-display, and it is already 2 years after all those trusted insiders leaks, still no samsung with in-display fingerprint and i beleieve maybe S11 or Note 11 gonna carry an in-Display fingerprint

Backside fingerprint scanners are the dumbest thing ever. If phone is on a table, you have to lift it up to unlock which is just dumb as hell.
